I’m not sure if this used to be a default thing or an addon I used years ago, but I remember I used to be able to see more than just a pet’s name when hovering over the little pawprint on my minimap, and more than just “Capturable” or “Collected 1/3” in the tooltip for wild pets.
It used to list which ones I had caught, if any, with levels & breeds listed and color coded based on their rarity.
Is this something that was removed at some point? I didn’t play any of BfA and only the first half of Legion, so I’m still catching up on all the little changes between then and Shadowlands. Or was it part of an addon that I don’t have anymore? (I currently have Rematch, PetTracker, Battle Pet BreedID, and some other non-pet-specific addons too.)
That sounds like an add-on. Since I’ve been pet collecting for a while, and I’ve never seen anything like that, I assume you had an add-on that did this.

Edit: Huh. The tooltip addon says it hasn’t been updated since 2018 and is giving me lua errors. =( How are you getting yours to work?
Edit edit: I found a comment on the github that had the two lines of lua to fix, and now it’s working properly. Thank you again for the name of the addon!
