NPC's you felt bad about killing?

Baby mammoths in Borean Tunrda. Sometimes I’d hit them by accident with AOE and I’d feel pretty awful.

Rakeesh. As a draenei I will never be able to live with myself having had to kill Velen’s son. It wasn’t his fault he got himself corrupted, he was just a youngling.

And occasionally, in the Mythic Dungeon during Legion, he could drop a quest item that gives you him as a ghost as a follower.

Ya, this felt pretty bad. He was so young when his family was all killed, and his (would Kil’jaeden be considered an uncle?) only remaining familiarities said his father abandoned him and that he should swear off anything he stood for and go with the Legion.

He was then tortured and formed into the perfect weapon against not just his own people, but specifically his father.

But I don’t think anything could ever beat having to kill Ysera.

I forgot about this one until now. It is definitely a sad one. The part when Velen begs us to stop, and then when we don’t he starts attacking us.

And there’s no option to stop. You have to kill him. I hate that my characters ignored Velen and just killed Rakeesh anyway.

Yeah, I stoppedd attacking, but the others kept on, and Velen only attacked me while they killed his son.

And yet we managed to “stop” when Malfurion asked us to when we were fighting Cenarius. I hated having to fight all those corrupted druids in Legion.

I think it’s time druids stopped taking such long naps. It only leads to corruption. lol

Cripes did we really HAVE TO? With that many powerful figures there we couldn’t have incapacitated here while we worked on a cure? It could have led into BFA and maybe even Shadowlands but nah, let’s kill her.

Elisande -

She’s a total babe. I mean, have you seen that hat and those feet?
She did nothing wrong, was just trying to protect her people.
FAT just makes the nightborne join the horde and burn down teldrassil and genocide NEs for no reason, is obviously a way worse leader or at least just as bad.
Had crazy time magic.

Also, Elisande hated the legion and her entire 10k year existence was the result of her saying no to them. So her whole switcharoo made 0 sense.
