when i enter different zones in kalimdar and eastern kingdoms the npcs and wildlife disappear. i disabled all my addons with no change . I also tried dismissing my hunter pet and reloading the game , still no change . i dropped most of the quests for other zones. i only kept one for darkmoon faire to turn in. any body have a suggestion?
you could be entering an other time line when you enter?
I’d move this to CS and see if they have any ideas. It sounds to me like some quest has phased you, if it’s not a widespread issue.
Cromie time was reset to present with no change. ty for the suggestion.

Can you be more specific? Exactly where you are when the chance occurs, and what zone?
Typically this occurs when you move into another phase (like if you haven’t completed the whole questline for a zone). Sometimes you can see into another phase before you walk into it.
I have been trying in azsuna to do a daily fishing quest from org . I have dropped all the azsuna quests and it still will not populate . i only have a darkmoon faire quest " Test your strength" left in the quest log. i just reset cromie time to present with no change
if it’s this character, you’re well above level cap for Azsuna.
Which npc’s are missing?
you don’t need to have a quest in your log, in order to be put in a certain phase.
eg: this character could have a class hall quest waiting, which needs to be done in order to put things into the correct phase
the character in question is “Tickertock” on zul’jin. I haven’t started the class hall quests yet . I’ll check that and see what happens
