The mobs during STV need to be turned off it makes zero sense to be constantly griefed by Gorilla/Trolls/Tigers that cause constant spell kickback while trying to PvP. They should just be put to sleep like the BB guards it ruins the enjoyment of PvP being constantly harassed by mobs trying to cast a single spell.
They’re killable for blood.
1 blood is not worth while I’m constantly pvping groups of 5 they are pointless to even be in the event.
Environmental hazard to be factored in… can’t just Zug you gotta think.
It’s a PvP event not a PvE not a good take brother.
It’s a PvP event in a PvE environment…
if you don’t want environment go BG.
Kinda like uh I dunno pvp is on the regular.
Like why is this even a thread?
He got killed in the present STV event because he was dazed and couldn’t wait to rage about it.
Not raging about anything I got every item possible off the vendor I think the NPCs are pointless. if you don’t like the thread don’t comment on it lame brain take.
Not quite related but same kind of hilarious when hunters forget to turn off cheetah.
That’s you, bro.
Honest mistake really!
Bringing the WoTLK version spell pushback to SoD might be interesting.
definitely a nerf to Hunters – but who cares lol
You’re confusing the forums with your diary, friend.
It’s an honest take NPCs just like the Guards in BB can be set to sleep during the time of the event to make an actual PvP event.
In what other open world PvP event has the environment been turned off?
You can literally look at the Guards in BB they literally asleep so this one.
Dear Diary,
Today a gorilla killed me in STV…
Never dying just not possible to cast with constant spell kickback. Just annoying for all casters.
Its super frustrating to even try to fight at the Southern Beach Altar because all of the mobs down there are lvl 40-45. I don’t even bother at this point even if the boss is down there because if you get unlucky, you’ll end the event with all red gear lmao.
But nah, mobs need to be enabled for the event because they give blood. If you’re having problems, just fight near Gurubashi Arena or Nesingwary. There are basically no mobs near the Arena Roads, and over at Nesingwary all the mobs are like lvl 30-35 and negligible at best.
I normally have to fight on the road and not near the boss Solely because it’s put in areas by either the ZG mobs or on the beach like you said. I get that the NPCs give blood but it’s 1 or 3 if near the boss it’s entirely dismissible, and just makes the event feel like a drag if you want to farm out AB rep to revered.
