I completed the starting quest for the quest line for legion up to “In the Blink of an Eye” turning it in to get my dal hearthstone. have waited over an hour, tried logging out and in, restarting the game. and the NPC will not show up to start the class hall campaign. please help
Same. It was appearing a couple days ago but nothing now. Hope this gets fixed soon
If you haven’t completed the Harbinger quest, complete it, fully.
I ran around for hours doing misc Legion quests, before I saw someone mention that quest phasing out other Legion quests until completed.
Sure enough, the second I returned to Dalaran when Harbinger was finished, the NPC spawned in front of me to begin the Class Hall intro
I’m having the same issue, even after the patch
This is getting highly annoying, I just completed the Harbinger questline and I still cannot get the Broken Shore Legion starting questline so I can start the class hall on this priest! This has been an issue since pre-patch and still cannot get the Broken Shore quest from the damn warboards! Bizzard you need to fix this!
One idea is for Blizzard to change the warboards to where you can search for the starting quest you need without filling your quest log in the process and then abandoning all the others you didn’t need after finding it.
Update, Since pre-patch of The War Within, opening up Legion for the class halls has been severely broken! The only solution I have found is going through Achivist Elysiana in the Voilet Citadel in Dalaran, but still come short to finishing. I went to Archivist Elysiana to start the questing since the Warboards didn’t give the quest for the Broken Shore scenario starting with the quest Legion: The Legion Returns. I have had to make multiple trips to Archivist Elysiana, to continue the questing, The portal in Stormwind keep that is supposed to be there isn’t there and have had to Skyride to Dalaran over Karazhan several times, I get to and finish the quest, Author, Author and get teleported back to Archivist Elysiana ending the questing through her even though the final quest, In the Blink of an Eye still needs to be done and cannot do it currently. The quest is still required to witness the teleporting of Dalaran from Deadwind Pass to the Broken Isles! It is after the completion of this quest you can start the Class Hall, and you cannot do that currently and is very frustrating!

Now from what i’m understanding after that i should be getting the starting quest “Before the Storm”.
I am now going to list the following things I have tried to resolve this issue.
1: The Harbinger quest line completed.
2: Call of duty quest completed. (to force the boat to spawn for the quest (The Hand of Fate)- Side note, I still have not been successful in getting the boat to spawn after doing the DF intro quests as well.
3: Breaching the Tomb up to “Champions of Legionfall”
4: Running circles around dalaran to force a layering.
5: 2hr AFK at the entrance to force a layering in dalaran.
6: repeating 4 and 5 with log outs to try and force a layer.
7: Checking the warboard in Orgrimmar for any legion quests.
Last bit of info I can give,
Ive checked all scrips with wowhead as far as quests go. I have “true” values for every prerequsit except for the starting quest “Before the Storm”
Still nothing. Time will only tell if this will be fixed or if im missing something.
