hi, is there a way to disable the dot when a npc is selected. its getting annoying to talk with an npc then have to hit esc to get rid of the marker.
Are you sure that’s not an add-on doing that? I’m not seeing any dot, except in the mini-map (maybe that’s what you’re talking about?).

ahh the TARGET locator button i doubt you could do what you want without destroying some of the fuctionality of the targeting system
Are you referring to this kind of dot?
If so, type this in your chatbox:
/console minimapTrackingShowAll 1
(exactly as it is, caps matter)
Then use the tracking dropdown to toggle “Target” on or off.
For some reason, Blizzard disabled the visibility of that option in Tracking by default, so some people have it stuck On and others have it stuck Off, but that /console command lets you see it again so you can make changes easily.
