Why is it that our “Heroes” are so weak. While questing, a skirmish breaks out and our npc’s just sit there holding aggro the whole time. Or they stand in place in an attack stance as if they’re guarding…
We do all the work, and they take all the glory. We kill the raid bosses and beat the dungeons. They do next to no damage while we cull the mobs. And they sit back. And when all is said and done, we go into a cutscene or text wall about the lessons they’ve learned along the way.
They’re not heroes, they’re leeches. Why cant they be more impactful? why can we not see them beating down enemy scum with absolute dominance? Why cant they be… heroes…

I like the guards in Siege of Boralus.
I just noticed they’re enlisted Kul’tiras guardsman fighting people who don’t even have weapons.

We could still have requirements on kill numbers. I just want them to feel significant.
How can i be affected by their efforts if they put no effort in. This also leans into the cutscenes and story. In my mind from what i have seen, they are weak and pathetic. So they don’t deserve the glory.
There are still places you can get guards to help kill a quest target by dragging them nearby. I dont want to post them as some in the past I’ve posted about eventually get fixed and no longer work.
