I would love to see enchantments be added to the crafting orders system in some capacity. As somebody who chose to focus on Everlasting Enchantments this expansion, making up for my lack of guaranteed max ranks with Concentration and Ingenuity, I find myself unable to engage with the crafting orders system as much as the other specializations (and other professions).
It also just seems… convenient for everyone to be able to request and provide a scroll with a specific enchantment for the cost of the raw materials, instead of being at the mercy of the Auction House markup. Sure, there’s no Soulbound component, but there’s no need to be - we already have some craftables that fit this criteria. It probably wouldn’t be a trivial change, but I think it would be valuable addition to the economy game.

Putting 5 points into the glamours is 100% worth it. So many of the patron orders are for glamours.
It pays for itself too. You put 5 points in and get 6 glamours to first craft. Then you can put 5 of those in and get 6 more. Then you can keep going for the rest of them since you put 5 points in for 5 glamours.
They’re cheap to craft. You come out ahead on skill point investment, get a bunch of acuity, and it helps with most of the patron work orders.

As stated here. After the initial 5 KP investment, you can get the KP back to invest further into the tree if you do the first time crafts for all the ones you unlock. I would only invest into the tree up to the point that you unlock the last glamours.
That one wheel has 23 recipes! Costs 5 initial points to get and then it fills itself. 23 first crafts also at 5 AA a pop! 115 AA boost to your stock.
Yeah, I just went 20/25 there, the knowledge refunds worked out great!
My question is with the Patron crafting orders. I never get the knowledge point rewards like with other professions, and i only get 3-4 a day when other professions give 6-10 a day. Bug or as intended? I started Tailoring and Enchanting at the same time and have well over twice as many knowledge points for Tailoring.
By design.
Enchanting gathers its weekly KP quota by disenchanting. The Work Orders are only sources for AA and some other items.
Enchanting should be fairly close to complete. If you are not, complete the weekly quest and your weekly disenchanting items then keep disenchanting for more KP items.
That sucks lol, probably my least played char, so i don’t get a lot to disenchant. mostly just BOE’s i send over from others. thanks you though.
If your main is playing the Flame’s Radiance content, BoW (Warband bound) epic gear will rain down. Anything beyond what you may want to equip with is easily transferred to an Enchanting alt for disenchanting into epic shards and the KP tokens you need.
