NPC Chat Issue

I am not sure if this is a bug or a settings issue. I am not sure where to ask. I will try here.

When you select when an NPC has a little chat bubble above their head, I noticed that the convo does not show up in the NPC chat like any other NPC chat.

I realize this is a minor and silly thing but I have pretty bad dyslexia and ADHD. Reading and rereading things along with hearing them allows what is going on/said to stay in my head better.

My NPC channel has all “Creature Messages” boxes checked and nothing else. Is this a settings error on my part or is it a bug that makes it not show up in NPC chat like any other chat?

Probably is a bug. You need to report this to the Bug Report. You can edit the thread and move it there to make it easier than creating a new thread.

I’ve been noticing this issue since Shadowlands. Sometimes I’ll go to speak to a NPC, click on the NPC, but nothing happens. I have to step away from the NPC far enough to break the interaction distance, then return and re-initiate the conversation. It seemed slightly better during Dragonflight, but this is still an issue I’m noticing two expansions later.
