The primary issue here is that the Righteous Vengeance DoT breaks Repentance. For full ret paladins in PvP, this can be a pretty massive issue in 1v1 situations where we often use Repentance to cast heals. If we hit a crit and Righteous Vengeance procs, that’s a big problem.
The solution I think is simple: either make the DoT not break Repentance uniquely, or change Repentance to remove Righteous Vengeance DoTs on cast.

i’m not sure but i think you can cancel the dot via macro and /cast repentance,it’s just a thing to test. I saw something related in the first preview of RV that said “until dispelled or cancelled”
