Now that the Horde has arrived on Khaz Algar and is officially helping the various factions

What, precisely, is preventing the Forsaken/Royal Apothecary Society from performing a Wrathgate 2.0 at The Wall in Hallowfall?

I mean this seems to be like the perfect opportunity to showcase some Blight Alchemy and fumigate a good portion of the land.

Having the forsaken prove to the world, yet again for the umpteenth time, why they can’t and shouldn’t trusted or be allowed near anyone else is a really really bad idea.

the literal only reason wrathgate even happaned was cause forsaken went awol, it aint happaning again

Even the Forsaken wouldn’t be caught dead doing that same tired scene at a gate.

If the Forsaken do anything, it is up the ante.

First it was a gate. Then burning a whole tree city.

I think if they really want to be the :poop: in the punch bowl… find a way to turn Beledar green.

Get one of those Horde Catapults with infinite range to lob a blight canister at their star and add a new color to the rotation.

I’m just saying the Horde is screaming for representation again, why not just get the Forsaken to fumigate a couple bug towns?

Not like we don’t have multitudes of experience with old god bug races turning around and stabbing us in the back.

I’m just saying to do it first!

They do that and the horde will finally have a reason to cut them out of the horde.

The horde overall hates the blight the forsaken use. They only used it in BFA because of war needs but my god did they despise it every time it was used.

The change in leadership tied with a change in loyalties and a different mindset.

Primarily because the Nerubians have proven to be willing to work with us.

If they were all 100% irredeemably antagonistic, sure the Forsaken would probably deploy blight if needed, but we are trying to be surgical in the campaign not recreating the Western Front.

That they aren’t being led by Putress? Or influenced by the Banshee Queen? Or that the rest of the Horde including the other Forsaken might get a bit annoyed with them?

The Horde isn’t allowed to utilize their unique nonsense for good. Iron Stars, the Blight, and apparent magical tree-destroying, continent spanning catapults are off the table.

Sorry boss. Forsaken have been Calia-ed. They don’t do that zombie stuff any more. They just there to make the Alliance look pretty.

I like where your heads at, I’ll make some calls

Because the people and situation involved are not here anymore? You might as well ask what is to keep the Alliance from purging Dornogal of all Horde.

“The people involved aren’t here anymore.”
“The Forsaken don’t do that anymore.”
“The situation has changed.”
“The politics are just not there anymore.”
“The Forsaken went AWOL during Wrathgate it didn’t represent all of us.”

Half this thread has never done the Undead Heritage Quest and it shows. Forsaken will gladly use Blight if they can get away with it like real world countries deploy drone strikes.

Yea we will gladly use the blight, just not in a friendly fire situation like the wrathgate

Horde stuff in an alliance Story? Don’t be ridiculos.

Funny enough, I just ran into a group of NPC adventurers in hallowfall where the Paladin tank was a human, with a hutner NE, a Priest Orc, looked to be a shaman or rogue Goblin looking for their next adventure.

Never gonna happen due to both marketing and coding reasons. The Forsaken (as presented in game) will forever be that one guy playing the worst kind of chaotic evil character at your DnD table that’s only tolerated because he’s your DM’s best friend.
