Meh, DF doesn’t have anything that interests me enough to even pre purchase. But people are free to do what they will, there would need to be a HUGE HUGE HUGE decrease in sales for that dev team to remotely act upon it.
DF is like Legion going from WoD. When the bar is set that low, and people were for the most part annoyed by SL, then DF looks like a dream come true [honeymoon phase]
Then when Blizzard finalizes their design choices etc, and people try it out, they’ll be angry 'till near end of expansion when Blizzard let up and let people play the way they want.
The talent trees are as much borrowed power as anything else we’ve seen.
I haven’t preordered yet. I’m really disappointed with the androgynous dracthyr models

What Blizzard has done to soar has really killed my excitement for the expansion. I know its one thing and shouldn’t matter but damn they are really showing how out of touch they are. Everyone wanted the speed to stay the same just lower the cooldown…you know for fun times. Blizzard in their infinite wisdom then nerfs the speed by 30% and gives one lame excuse. Then try to “fix” it by lowering the cooldown by a minute. Put soar back where it was and if it MUST have a cooldown make it 2 minutes. Imagine the other changes they do “listening to the community”. Pathetic.

Yeah I haven’t because Blizz still seems to be ignoring a ton of feedback, specifically with the soar nerf and worst of all the feral druid talents. I can live with a de-funned racial, but to me the lack of responses to the absolute disaster which is the feral talent tree is proof they are up to their old tricks. Maybe if they do something about feral, and I mean -actually- do something then maybe.
The funny thing is I don’t even play feral in retail, but for every bad XPAC feral has been a mess and it’s become a canary for me.

I was going to play it anyways. Wish the DK trees had a bit more thought put into them, they are pretty boring.
Soar nerf is a legitimate “whatever” thing thats overblown and wont affect anything i do.

I don’t think I’ve ever pre-ordered a digitally downloaded game.
Pre-orders made sense 20 years ago when you needed the store to reserve a box for you. But today?

Its just buying it at a time thats finacially viable for you. Or getting it out the way so you dont have to worry about it later.
I cant tell you what my bank balance will be in 3 months.
Right now i know what it is. And its pretty low so im not prepurchasing yet XD

Mmm, how doesn’t it? It’s just artifacts, azerite, soulbinds, legendaries, ect all rolled into one interface…and if you think those trees won’t see a major overhaul in 11.0, I’ve got a bridge to sell you

Preordered because I’m going to play it. I know there’s going to be things I like and dislike but I’m not going to get all dramatic and pretend I’m not going to play.

I didn’t pre-order DF but I’m definitely gonna play it because there is no other MMORPGs that even close in my opinion, I played shadowlands the whole time despite the negative reviews, I might have unsubscribed for a total maybe 2-3 months at best to play other games.

I love WoW i just hate the direction retail has gone after Legion. People have been hyping DF as a change in direction but so far I’ve not seen enough of the whole “listening to the players” thing that Blizz promises each new retail XPAC.

Some people got upset about the slime mount and soar nerf so basically everything they’ve done to this point is irrelevant and they’re making an awful expansion.

I would say there is evidence of it.
No borrowed power
Less compact zones
Day 1 flying (new flying system but still fast travel around the map)
The return of talent trees
A proffesion revamp to make them worth doing
All things ive seen people request a lot for the game.
