Most players are not trying to do MDI runs in low keys/ Bring back m+ how it used to work like in SL and BFA
We’re in the initial release, no one knows any mechanics, no one is out gearing anything, and Blizzard hasn’t had a chance to look at data to buff/nerf specs and dungeons.
This is mostly a learning week for anyone who isn’t like a top 5% player.
Which means 95% of the playerbase is going to nope out.
95% of the players are going to quit because M+ is doing what it does at the start of every season?
Sadly yes. Until blizzard gets the memo that one shots and health sponge enemies aren’t fun
FFS, how soft is everyone? They’re going to nope out because end game content doesn’t fall over in week one of a 6+ month long season??? I would be so mad if I could hit every goal in the first week. What would even be the point? There’s no game if there’s no challenge to overcome.
Dude, people are trying to do Mythic 0s or 2s in their 630 gear from last season and getting 1 shot.
No one expects to get KSH in week 1.
People just want to get on the ladder.
wtf is the ptr for?
Before quitting, have any of them considered looking to see what exactly one shot them? Then planning on interrupting the cast, or using a defensive, or not standing in something? Or discovering it wasn’t actually a one shot at all?
People make the assumption that they should be able to do +2 while ignoring mechanics, and after the squish, +2 is what +12 used to be. People need to expect to run into bumps if they’re learning the content in real time.
Do you expect every player to practice on the PTR to learn mechanics? Look, I study dungeons and raid fights before I do them, but I don’t expect people to start week 1 with weeks of experience practicing dungeons on the PTR. It’s okay to learn in the actual game.
You don’t need to do MDI runs to do M+. Funny how that works.
For the players to not use, and for Blizzard to ignore the data from.
Players do use it. People were complaining about the tuning all ptr. Blizzard did indeed ignore it.
Can you explain the rationale behind the assumption that the players complaints are correct and that Blizzard is wrong to ignore them?
Unfun gameplay and trash scaling is not soft 95% of player were not hitting goals week 1 in the past, we just had way more learning keys.
they can go to a lower difficulty, then. Like Heroic.
Probably the whole “the customer is always right” thing.
lol, that phrase has never been a good basis for anything. Customers are wrong a lot of the time in general, and I’d argue they’re wrong most of the time in any specialized content area, like game design, just to name an example.
Yeah I already hate this season just doing my M0s, it certainly won’t be any more fun on +12 so I’m just gonna peace out nice and early this time.
This season is worse then season 1. Blizzard really has zero clue what they’re doing. Catering to sweatlords only.
The good news is that s3 should be a cake walk.
