Given Blizzard’s general attitude towards the Alliance, especially at Blizzcon, I’d be surprised if there were very many at all.

It is pretty well known that all the devs that actually play are horde and have been for quite a while.

There used to be Devs who did, but they all got laid off or quit eventually… all that’s left now are basically Horde players, but there is a loud Alliance voice in their ranks if Polygon is to be believed, (which I’m sure is a bunch of Hogwash)

Though Jaina being plot armor Mary-sue like character kind of makes you wonder who’s dominant in the writing team. Since Thrall is literally nowhere to be found and here she is making trash out of our fleets.

I’m sitting here hoping she gets burned hard with her fathers body we have now… IM WATCHING YOU WRITING TEAM.

I mean, can you blame them? The Alliance is hot garbage. If you’re cool, you’re Horde. If you’re not, you’re Alliance. Simple.

Also, Seeing as they are the ones who are responsible for what is cool and what is hot garbage, it’s still on them.

They could turn all horde races into varying colors of different shaped blobs with no racials. Extreme example but it makes my point.

Well I watched almost all of Blizzcon, and it felt like 9/10 devs mained Horde, while all of them had a Horde character.

They need to balance it out a bit.

I would love for any one of you (or collectively if you can play well together) produce a list of the names of the Horde mains for the whole development team. That’s fair right? You say they all (or mostly) main Horde; pony up the names.

There is a joke in here somewhere. Something like…

“how many alliance biased devs does it take to…” -doesn’t matter, there are none.

So what’s hilarious is that I’m reading The WoW Diary: A Journal of Computer Game Development by John Staats (one of the original interior level designers) and he said that while WoW was in production and they were filming a large player battle between Orcs and Humans that the director of the shoot had to tell the Blizz employees that some of them would have to play Humans because there’s way too many Orcs compared to Humans and the employees would begrudgingly switch to Humans to even out the sides for the shoot.

Alliance has been boring even before Day 1.

I don’t think there are many devs left who play at all given the apparent disconnect from their fanbase.
