Now people won't take rogues to raid at all?

I understand the drama that can come with every Rogue wanting Warglaives. But to make it hard for rogues to get into dungeon groups and now guild not even taking one rogue to raid. A bit ridiculous don’t you think? What does everyone else think?

Sounds like a personal experience issue.

My guild has a rogue in our raid group.

It’s up each individual guild. Outside of IEA rogues don’t really bring much else to the raid team.

With few melee spots, people are slotting in another Warrior as their damage is just higher. At the end of the day though, this content will be cleared which ever comp you bring.

Hopefully people don’t let these speed running/classic first kill guilds sway others to change their raid comps. Play with people you enjoy playing with, other than that who cares.

My guild also has a rogue in our raid group.

If you are having trouble finding a guild that meets your specific demands, have you considered starting your own?

I have am just not experienced in running a guild, but i could learn I’m sure =)

We honor the player and never the meta… if a Rogue played well a Rogue gets glaives…

This is his first ever forum post. My guess is that he saw the rogue vs warrior warglalive forum debates and decided to make a thread of his own just to start the argument all over again… and hes not even posting on a class that will ever get them anyways.

Nah i really was just curious how guilds look at the rogue class. I would have to lead groups for dungeons most the time just to get into them for my pre-bis gear. Just had a couple guilds that rather take anything but a rogue so i wanted to see if it was the norm that’s all.

My guild has a raiding rogue.

This isn’t really an actual problem unless your guild is min-maxy to a very strict degree. My guild even has a feral DPS (me).

Sweet i’ll keep looking for a good guild then thanks everyone =)

We have a rogue. I think most take one for Imp EA?

My raid has TWO rogues :open_mouth:

Guilds tend to carry 1. And that 1 better be good. Also they either have that 1 already or they dont care to find one. They are not looking for 2. People are so miserably hard strapped into a meta and its not going to change

I saw a raid yesterday went in with 3 Enh Shaman. Wild.

god if only Unleashed Rage stacked. We’d be the new hunters!

Yes, nothing but the sound of procs off of the crit, rebounding off the mountains of hyjal.

I mean, the simple truth is that rogues are the single least useful raiding DPS class in TBC. Combine that with 10,000 rogues not raiding the entire expansion, and now wanting to get into BT because of glaives, and you are going to have a real tough time finding a raid spot as a rogue.

That said, our raid comp runs one rogue who is an excellent player and has been going above and beyond pretty much every single week of every raid since the start of TBC. He’s earned his spot and his glaives.

My guild has 4 rogues across 4 raid teams…sounds like a personal problem. Also, get used to starting your own groups for heroics. It’s the easiest way. Most people just want someone else to do the LFG work

Why would a rogue want to raid? Aren’t they usually out killing people several levels below them while they’re fighting a mob?
Good riddance, i say. Rogue players are degenerates

If you are a rogue and just start to try getting into a guild this late as the least wanted class… I dont know what to tell you. There has been roguespots in guilds and they dont need more than 1-2.

Looks like the reasoning would be warglaives, but that would be a never given for someone coming this late / joining a guild just now unless you swipe and get some gold and buy them lol. I mean you could have raided in T4 or T5 if you were after glaives or generally like raiding. Does not look too good.

If you want to experience the opposite then reroll a shaman.
