It’s amusing to me that both side’s “High Elves” can be Warlocks, tbh.

Let’s not push it now we just got high elves for the void elves. I am super excited but also Paladins I don’t believe appeared in high elf culture till they became blood elves. Through the blood knights.

(Commentary): I said it’d become a case of, ‘If you Give a Mouse a Cookie…’ Anyways, I think if this is going to be the compromise, Blizzard DOES need to go all in on it. Paladins, Druids, Shamans, a way to turn off the blue glow in-combat, and a lore tidbit where the Void Elves and High Elves literally join forces. Veressa leads the High Elves, Umbric leads the Void Elves, and Alleria is the leader of the overall faction.

Are high elf Paladins even lore friendly… in BC blood elves only were able to use the light by linking themselves to the naaru

I wanna be a druid as a high elf/blood elf. Sadly with the upcoming appearances only being added, seems like I will never be able to play as an elven druid other than night elves D:

As I said above paladins only appeared in their culture once the blood knights became a thing. That is due to draining the light from a Naruu

(Commentary): I hope this is just for the launch of Shadowlands and Void Elves could get some PROPER new customization, like this stuff.

I mean at this point, lore is a crumbled up set of stickynotes they keep loosing but…

The high elves never had paladins, it was something formed during the rebuilding of silvermoon by the now renamed blood elves.

Even those who had forsaken their homeland and lived among the humans before the third war, and after never really picked up the paladin trick.

That said, these are voidelves with BE skins, void and light mixed are not healthy.

If Blizzard makes it so that Void Elf Paladins use Shadow spells and visual effects instead of the Light, sure. Would love to see dark Pally Wings.

If we stick with the elf routine, I’m for Night Elves. Having Elune as a ‘substitute’ for the Light seems to fit better than The Void as far as Paladins go.

To that end, why not a Forsaken paladin?

Lightforged priests say what? 2/3s of their specs use shadow.

They got it after TBC and was mentioned in multiple novels. Basically when High Elves were around places like Stormwind they learned about the light ect.

No. A Void Elf Paladin would be INCREDIBLY lore-breaking.

Separation of lore and gameplay. Imagine if they excluded the Healing specs because of lore; people who don’t RP would probably be very unhappy. Paladins however are all light-using in all 3 specs, so the whole class makes 0 sense for Void Elves.
