The Dreadwake is one of the coolest mounts in the game, but it had an unfortunate launch. Mounts were in a transitional stage at the time and mount equipment had yet to be introduced, so lots of people got frustrated with their “sinking ship” mount and stopped using it.

I was just riding around in mine with my Angler’s waterwalking mount equipment on and I thought to myself, “This is an enjoyable mount now that all the issues are fixed. I had forgotten about it. I should remind people on the forums that this mount exists, is awesome, and works great now.”

Don’t forget to summon Cap’n Crackers to accompany you on your Dreadwake adventures. If you /whistle at him, he will perch on your shoulder.

Its all good until you start sinking and you realize you swaped to the anti daze equip because Shadowlands doesn’t really have a lot of deep water…
