What’s funny is how they brag about making the game accessible, and then do everything they can so it’s actually NOT. I’m in my 50s and have pretty severe arthritis thanks in part to Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I also have some nerve damage. Everything is a speed run, everything has you moving every five seconds (or worse). Bonus points when you have to watch for the Exrtra Action button to pop to click that, too, on top of your rotation and everything else.
And fine, so I just won’t do that content, since players are even nastier if you tell them you have health issues, but are trying your best. Except they make it mandatory for pets, mounts and mog - and collecting is the only thing left for casuals, since uber gear, crafting patterns and titles/achievements are off the table.
mega dungeons dont make sense contextually anymore. back when the game had that “adventure” feel which was mostly an illusion and could mostly be attributed to the intentional slowing down of the player (by making them traverse the continent on foot before level 40 for example), vs now when we have flying, portals that can go anywhere and everywhere etc, the sense of adventure is gone. everything is compartmentalized for the sake of convenience which isn’t necessarily a bad thing since modern WoW is more of an ARPG than an MMO
TLDR i dont think it would fit anymore and i dont think the team could pull it off anyway
While I don’t necessary support their tone or their whole argument, nerub ar mythic bosses 1-4 are a notable step down from what we’ve seen in more recent tiers. Also starting with cross realm has meant pugs for 4/8 mythic have been running daily since roughly the second or third week of the tier.
I did read. You said dungeons weren’t linear. I disagree. DM and UBRS were very linear.
You said dungeons weren’t designed to be spammed. I am not sure what means. We did spam them. It was as easy then, as it is now to run a dungeon multiple times back to back.
