Blizzard, I beg you, if you cater to the Iwillkiteu’s of the world, the game will stay so elitist that it will turn into the current state of Classic Era realms.
It’s okay to add quality of life features. It’s what we remember from Wrath. It makes even more sense today. It’s fine.
If that’s what it’s about for you, then I understand and don’t care, even though the run doesn’t bother me. However if they added a teleport button to the LFG tool, I can almost guarantee that 95% of the RDF crowd would be furious, because they simply don’t want to form the group. In every thread I’ve been in except this one with you, it’s been about forming the group.
I mean, plenty of people that write code for a living react to new technology like it’s the sun and they are a vampire.
You can easily get stuck in your own ways and start hating on newer technology just because it changes the way you used to do things.
That’s the behavior your exhibiting right now. RDF is functionally better, it works seamlessly, it fixes massive issues people have with server crowding and queues.
But no, it changes things from the way YOU specifically want it to work, therefore it’s evil and wrong and shouldn’t be added.
You can code for a living all you want, that doesn’t mean you have a positive view on progressive techonologies.

Its about ease of access. PvPers can now just roll around and do whatever and get instant teleported to their content now. PvEers dont have that choice. Blizz used teleporting to an instance as the main factor for the so called lack of social interaction (its the only thing missing from their horrid LFD tool) yet they give it to PvPers and not PvEers.

That’s the thing they use a lot. “u dont like technology”. Really? I love technology, but I don’t love bots and AI playing the game for me. It’s a game I’m supposed to play. With regards to a heart surgery or tendon reconstruction, I worship technology. But if I’m going to play a game, do I really want to make the experience worse? I don’t care if I have the most or the least technology in the game I’m playing, I just want it to be fun.
Huh? Forming the group is pisseasy lol. Blizz added everything to the tool BUT the teleport. Forming the group was never the issue. You can list yourself to their horrible LFD tool and never say a word and get in a group just fine.

A little late but atleast we got that. even though when the zombies were killing everyone it would of been a little more helpful. Now can we get LFG/RDF so that people who enjoy dung grinding get some stuff like the random Heroic dung fun. lol.
As far as I’m concerned, Blizzard just opened a can of worms for exactly this issue. There’s now an unfair imbalance between whats allowed for PvP and for PvE. There’s no way they can get away with not adding that for dungeons now, they did this to themselves.

No, I mean literally. Getting a group is still automated with their new tool lol. I did beta testing as a raid leader in naxx. I didnt whisper anyone or have anyone whisper me. I just got requests to join. I hit invite, the end lol. There was no interaction.
What are you even talking about? You can do that with the LFG tool, i just did it on two alts that I leveled to 70.
I don’t like retail. I like Wrath. In Wrath, the expansion I started in, we had a dungeon finder at this patch we’re on. It worked fine. Next question.
Im saying thats what PvEers have to do. Imagine if you queue a random BG and had to run to it every time. Let me head over here for WSG, whelp, let me catch a port to UC and fly down to hillsbrad for AV. Its the exact same thing we have to do to get to dungeons lol.

Do you think players on much less populated servers gets groups as easy as you do?
RDF is not new. I played Wotlk originally, unlike you.
I used to like RDF before I saw what it leads to and the abomination that retail is today.
