76g of sugar is ridiculous. Sure a completely healthy younger person might be able to handle it, but even for them it might start to have negative effects over a long period of time. For someone like me that’s minus 1 kidney and has elevated liver counts/fatty liver due to chemotherapy, it would be very very bad for me to have anything like that. Right now I’m drinking the sodastream stuff with 12g of sugar per 1L, but I could switch to zero sugar if I ever need to.
Yeah I’m going to buy it just to get the mount and throwing out the slop….

Yeah, but you are not as impressionable or susceptible to marketing. You value the dollar. But, you would buy anything your kid wants and justify it.

I ignored it and didn’t buy any, and point still stands.
I bought them for my Canadian friends. And promptly gave the bags of Trolli to my neighbors’ kids with parental consent. Those kids had no clue what the “weird monster thing” was on the front of the bag. 
First and foremost I hope you’re doing well. That sounds like a really tough situation.
The problem isn’t just an occasional soda. It’s people drinking multiples, Dunkin/Starbucks runs, and all the processed crap in the grocery store that’s laced with sugar. If it’s not meat, veggies, complex carbs, or fruit it’s probably garbage unfortunately.
74% of American’s are overweight or obese. 50% of children. Half of cancer is directly attributed to obesity. To me it’s the biggest issue we’re facing in America right now. The consequences simply haven’t caught up to people yet.
Yeah for me the cancer has a genetic cause and didn’t show up until I was 49. It’s POSSIBLY connected to a fire retardant chemical exposure when I lived on a military base from ages 10-12, but it’s impossible to prove at this point.
The water table at that base was contaminated by this chemical from 1970-2022, it’s a known cause of kidney cancer and it was used for years for munitions testing on that base. The people most at risk were the ones actually using it. But like I said it did contaminate the water table so anything’s possible.
