Moved to a Pixel 6 with Android 12 and notifications stopped working for me. Notifications are on in the app, and the Android per-app notification setting is enabled for wow companion. No notifications. The android notification settings show the app has attempted to send 0 notifications.
I just moved the app from the default battery optimization setting (“optimized”) to “unrestricted”. Will report back if that changes anything.
Edit: Reporting back. Swapping to the unrestricted battery setting seems to have fixed not getting notifications. If this is new android 12 behavior, it’s silly the default behavior doesn’t work.
New problem though. Tapping the notification fails to launch the app.
