Just sad, and miss their voices, knowledge, and sane responses.
Wondered if anyone else noticed that the quitting spike just isn’t in the game? And does anyone else miss those people?

I wasn’t gone, I was banned for a week. Got too invested in a conversation with an obvious troll and lost my temper. It happens.

Oh…that one (if it’s the one I’m thinking of.) Sorry, bud. I’ve a helluva temper that sleeps - but, poke it too much, coupled with trying to always curtail my sailors vocab of a mouth…

I forum the way I game. If someone isnt posting I dont miss them, i just read whats available. If an ability gets removed I dont miss it, I just use whats available. Its an ever evolving place just as the games we post about are ever evolving.

I haven’t posted long enough recently to really recognize any of the regulars, but I see it in game. Guilds are having a tough time keeping a full raid roster and people in my discord groups are playing other games. There just doesn’t seem to be as much interest in the new raid and pugging keys has been hit or miss so far.

I’ve noticed a few missing people on the forums. I know I’m certainly not a well known figure (or, known at all, mostly because I constantly switch which character I post on lol), but my sub expires in a few days and I’ll be gone too.

I’m not so sure it doesn’t have a part in it.
In every “i quit” thread there will be multiple people telling the OP to quit, nobody cares, the game is not for you, etc.
It may not be the sole cause, but hearing it enough is like anything else, you hear it enough you start to believe it.

There’s some truth in that, especially for those that are used to other games. But, yeah, not the sole cause.

Yeah but if they even bothered to come here at all means they are looking for some input, thinking maybe it’s just that they aren’t seeing something or are maybe doing something wrong.
If they were 100% commited to quitting they wouldn’t even bother coming here, they’d just quit altogether.

No. If they’re not enjoying the game, I’m going to recommend they play something else. It’s logical. Taking breaks is normal as is losing full interest in a game.

You know, it’s funny cause I keep telling people that this is the way to enjoy the game. You just gotta roll with the punches and do whatever you gotta do.
Attachment is the number one reason for frustration and anger in this game.
