For the most part, GD is a massive circle jerk.
Its the same people complaining about the same thing. People making “I quit!” posts when really they want attention. Sylvanas fanboys vs Saurfang supporters.
Most people I interact with in-game actually enjoy BfA, yet when I look at the forums all I see are posts about the game dying. God I really hope newbies dont take the forums seriously cause this place is a salt mine. I’d even wager worse than the LoL forums/community.

You only just now noticed? I can’t remember a time when the WoW GD forums weren’t a cesspool of nonsense
These people on the forums wouldn’t be happy even if blizz gave them 1 million bucks on a gold plate worth a million and told them to keep it all. They would complain and cry about how they didn’t get 2 million bucks.
I understand it’s a point of faith with you guys that people are sheep and will believe random strangers when they are told whether they are having fun or not, and nobody can think for themselves after reading and considering their own experiences.
Awful salty thread for someone who thinks they are different from everybody else.
For example

“Oh you are not doing the content why does your opinion matter”

Nah, I know I’m salty. I have my own gripes about the game.

Because most of everyone who already had their fill on this garbage expansion has burned off to bigger and better things. The rest of us left are fan girls or have issues leaving something that has been part of our lives for so many years.
Apparently, if you support Sylvanas, you’re a fanboy but if you support Saurfang then you’re a supporter.

That’s because the majority of the playerbase has long since quit the game.
Wait, really? I mean, from my experience 9 out of 10 random people that I see in game are complaining and say that they keep playing to keep up raiding.
Almost all my friends that play WoW already quit and 2 guilds in a row that I was part of died.
Well of course. It’s the same with most products. Few people go out of their way to say “Hey well done. I really enjoy the thing.” But an unsatisfied customer will yell up a storm. Especially these days. People can so easily jump onto some kind of social media to let everyone else know how bad something is. Feeling like you’ve not gotten your money’s worth is a terrible feeling, and you won’t let them get away with it!
And who could forget the complaining about complainers posts… I love these ones the most XD
Or say that they’re just staying because of friends.
But I’ll tell you what:
Go to the general chat channel on any of the BfA territories. Ask players for their honest opinions on BfA. Record your answers, then come back. And do it for both factions as well (I know what the Alliance answer is already, maybe the war crimes faction is different).
Let’s see how much this “most players” thing holds true.

They have always been this way. WoW was always going to die and the same people are always quitting.
I really feel sorry for the forum moderator or whoever it is responsible for the forum. Just imagine how many pages the person has to read everyday. I bet it’s like hundreds of pages of reading if not thousands, just way too much for anyone’s soul.
That’s what they all say. Do you think it validates your comments if you claim you have issues with the game?
