Nothing To Do in Dream

4 WQ’s or plant seeds.

What else can I do?

I miss dailies, Netherwing, Trial of Crusade, even Tanaan Jungle

Did you do all the side quests / gather up all the side treasures?

Explore. Take a nap.
Or any of the other stuff available in 10.2.

There are no quests available in the zone, so I guess so

There aren’t even any pet battle WQs in the ED.

Ditto.

The Dream is a weekly, or bi-weekly event, and not a spectacularly interesting one at that.

It’s certainly not a daily thing.

On the one hand that’s a good thing. Being able to just skip days of play, “no pressure”. I get sick of the daily zones as much as anyone, but it usually takes a while, and even going on a new toon freshens it up a bit as they get currency and gear up and what not.

But DF is not that way.

I mean, to be honest, it’s been a weird 10.2 for me so far anyway.

First vault I got, I took tokens. Second vault, I still haven’t claimed. It’s just sitting there. The best piece is an off hand, but I’m 2H right now. I’ll probably take it anyway as its a Hero item, but – it’s not real up for me now.

Anyway, yea, I miss the dailies. I think a combination of dailies and WQs work really well.

Oof… short and too-the-point summary of the new zone

I’m not one to complain usually but it does feel sparse. Zaralek had a bunch of “rare” spawns atleast though it was generally dull to be in.

Run Mythic Amirdrassil

this bothered me at first, too.

now I’m a weekly quest logger and it feels nice.

play once or twice a week and watch a lot more Netflix.

I’m pretty confident the drop rate on all of the rares in the ED zone was artificially boosted the first two weeks too. Notice how nearly every alt got nice shiny epics off of Auro, and now it’s rare to get anything? FYI it’s been the same with the anniversary dragons too. Perfect example in ED is the zara dude ‘hard’ quest that first week dropped adventure level gear, and since then has dropped blue seeds lol. Or just some gold or rep.

This is a common Blizzard ploy tho, boost drops early to entice, then pull it back to force the pavlovian regular return and farm model.

And yeah, once you’ve gotten everything, and done all of the side hunts, and gone through the story quests, then it not only gets lame doing the few quests PER WEEK, but you also deal with the weekly crest caps, which if you even just do LFR and any other weekly stuff around the other zones, you cap out quickly, so you don’t even get that benefit.

The game right now is designed to either farm for alts all week (keeping you from demanding more and better content, too busy rehashing what you’ve already done), or simply hardly play yet keep paying (which btw helps Blizz with server load, yet keeps the cash rolling in).

That’s not really a zone thing though.

The content is rewarding there but I agree that there isn’t very much up there after you do a few world quests and super bloom. Just rares and seeds. Lol

I like the zone a lot. I’ll actually have max rep with it. I have to go back to the caverns next, only level 2 rep there :joy:

Emerald Dream makes me miss Zereth Mortis. Hell, this past week I’ve spent more time there than the Emerald Dream! Just finishing achievements and farming mats to synthesize mounts and pets, it’s been fun.

the 1-2 side quests and what… 4? treasures?

starfield space exploration has more content than this

Nothing in Dragonflight has been “daily”. This information should have been received by osmosis within 2 weeks of launch. Apparently it didn’t get through to some people.

I have done this zone on 7 of my 15 characters there’s a lot to do if you do the questlines, side quests, treasures, etc. which is why I’ve only gotten to 7 of 15 thus far.

There’s quite a few side quests and I think it’s like… 12 treasures?
