having a conversation with you is impossible.
Is that the same reason why EA dropped 40% in the same time period, Ubisoft 31%, Microsoft 10%, Apple 26%, Google 20%, ect?
Yeah, not buying it. Makes zero sense to spend millions on developing a new xpac with the intention of killing the game when they could just say “Hey folks, we have decided that, moving forward, we are not making any new content for WoW. We will keep the servers open for those that want to keep playing as long as it’s financially feasible”.
Don’t get me wrong, I agree with your original post and have voted with my wallet (expires tomorrow). But this line of reasoning of purposefully killing a game by spending millions of dollars is just plain silly.
I believe with BfA they were trying to milk as much cash out of us as possible with the least amount of effort and content they could get away with and it’s backfiring on them.
Not really. People do it everyday.
So why are you still playing the game if you cannot find anything good about it?
My point is that Blizzard may be listening to some feedback, but they are not listening to the right feedback. Well, what is the right feedback? Probably the stuff that will bring back the most amount of players. If Blizzard were truly listening to what the players have been suggesting since the BFA beta, 8.1 would’ve been a massive success. As a very patient, diehard WoW fan, I can say this is not the case. This patch feels like BFA launch with some new vendors and a new warmode. This isn’t enough.
The reality is people are leaving this game in droves. My otherwise lively guild on Horde had to cancel a raid on patch day because no one was online. My Alliance guild made up of about 200 individuals had 4 people online on patch day. You can argue that Blizzard is listening all day, but I just don’t see them making impactful changes that people have been suggesting. They just aren’t.
/cast sarcasm
Yep…it all started with Activision’s stock dropping.
They are to blame!
No they didn’t. Look at the market on Sep 30-Oct 4.
And you are not proving him wrong. In fact, you are just promoting the fact you think he cannot defend.
why are you playing the game ? you dont pvp, dont pve, all you do is spend time on forums
I can see that with your experience with the guild that you assume it is happening to everyone. Its not. I still have active guilds.
nope sorry
I’ve always felt that how other players spend their time and money is not my concern because it’s not my time and/or money.
I dunno…maybe it’s just me.
oh im just asking because i want to ask
I dunno…maybe it’s just me.
When ATVI is up, they’re greedy conniving money grabbers
When ATVI is down, they should have listened
I love the rhetoric in these threads.
When people complain about the game, people say “leave more feedback”
When people leave feedback, the same people say “well you’re wrong and the game is fine” and they just go into other threads to say “leave more feedback”
And yes it is the same people. And the same people don’t leave good counterarguments either. It is also the same people that ignore that the game is always a work in progress and think it is fine at all times.
There is nothing wrong with playing the game even if you think there are issues with it. There is nothing wrong with leaving feedback about a game you enjoy and want to see improve.
I will say, though, about the OP: they don’t think it’s fine. They are most definitely reacting to things internally even if we don’t see it and they have openly admitted there are problems at least with WoW. IIRC even the CMs said they weren’t treating 8.1 as a true fixer-upper patch.
Because we love this game and we want it to improve. This is why we grab Blizzard by the face with both hands and scream at them to do something. We’re watching something we’re passionate about sink while the developers put a bandaid on the massive hull breach and idiots like you stand around and say, “if you don’t like this, just leave!”
You hardly even play this game. Look at everything about your account. We are fanatics, and we are more than qualified to talk about this game’s issues. You aren’t qualified to post on off-topic.
Its almost as juicy as the …
“I said a feedback. I don’t see it in the game.” flips table
Lol …
You may love the game and want it to improve, but you grab Blizz by the face with both hands and scream because you have no self control and a wild sense of entitlement.
you’re entitled to your own opinion. I disagree
And yet, he didn’t. If you are going to throw stones, throw them at the right person at least.
