But unfortunately it has become both of those things because like i said earlier, you need literally zero skill or fundamentals to do heroic or normal dungeons, none, you can bulldoze your way through them.
Like before the squish, you could still bulldoze through M0 and even 2 maybe 3, but each step you could get away with less and less. So by the time you hit like M8+ in the old system, you had to actually know your class on some basic level, and then 8-9-10 was for actually getting down what you are talking about how to do it optimized, so that you were actually working on WHAT to do in the M+ rathern then how to do it right?
But since they cut that all out, and squished it, everyone is forced into that new M0 and M2, and you have people who have no real place to learn what to actually do for their class, AND people trying to treat it as learning to optimize the dungeon.
So its this really crappy situation where everyone is pushed into the same place becuase they removed the original on ramp.
We are both talking about M0 being an entry point for Mythic dungeon mechanics. You decided to change the subject to âbasic fundamental class skillsâ or something completely unrelated.
Maybe theyâre doing M0 to gear alts, but as far as I can tell the people who did keys last season are mostly doing keys this season and moved on from M0 after the first one they did yesterday.
M0 should be an entry point for people who want to step into doing M+ this season and learn the mechanics of the dungeons on Mythic.
I get declined all the time. Itâs nobodyâs fault, it just happens in a multiplayer game. Move on, apply to the next group, or make your own key. If you canât get people to join your key, be patient and wait. Thatâs really it.
2200 last season was a joke. It was a participation award. Thatâs how I got those DPS people who were doing less than 1.2m in my other run and that one run with 300k.
I mean right now? 0s are pretty worth doing since they drop champ items per boss. A world tour gets you a LOT of gear especially if you are stacking armor types. Right now M0s are worth doing. Unlike last season M0s were 100% worthless.
If you think people need a decent rating for M0 you are crazy
How would anyone even get into doing keys if that was the case? Youâd never get new people to play with, people would just quit and no one would replace them and M+ would be a dead feature.
I have 0 rating and know how to play my class. I was planning on learning the Mythic dungeon mechanics through M0âs and thatâs what Iâve been doing so far, most groups have been really nice and helpful and were learning the dungeons on Mythic, too.
I guess weâre just doing it wrong though, they should all be denying me because I have no rating and kick me from the group since I donât know the Mythic mechanics already on M0 lol
626 for M0 is definitely doable even if the total average group was 625, you can still comfortably complete a M0. Itâs just players with the âthe higher the ilvl the better the player must beâ mentality. WRONG!! LOL. You can blow through LFR, World Boss and a few T8 Delves and get decently geared to and possibly above 625 to do M0âs and M2âs. That means youâve just grinded for gear to get some applicable ilvl gear to get into M0 and/or M2âs. But wait, that playerâs RIO is still Z E R O. But hey, at least they got a higher ilvl, right? OR go through ALL Heroics to gear up and be ready with dungeon experience getting into M0âs.
People are expecting players to be ilvl 630-640 for M0-M2, youâre out of your damn mind. That elitist mentality is whatâs wrong with Mythic Plus system. Itâs not that serious. M0-M2 has ALWAYS been entry level Mythic Plus dungeons and itâs expected for players whoâve obtained mostly Heroic (Veteran equivalent) gear to get into M0âs. How else are they supposed to get Champion gear other than just milling away at META quests, Delves, LFR or World Bosses. ExactlyâŚstart running M0âs.
Some players just want to get into Mythic 0 after gearing with Heroics, absolutely nothing wrong with that. The people who DO have a issue with players who are trying to run Mythic 0 after Heroics view them as a disadvantage over someone who have 630-640 ilvl with no dungeon experience because of item level. Now, who would you bring to your M0, the player whoâs geared with ALL Heroics, has every bit of Season 2 dungeon experience, or that 630-640 ilvl player who just geared to get into the âfront of the lineâ bc of their ilvl with ZERO S2 dungeon experienceâŚIâll wait.
This has been the average ilvl when Iâve done M0 and we did them just fine. And that was with only like maybe ~1 person actually knowing the mechanics and explaining them to us.
Itâs not like thereâs a timer or a penalty for wiping in M0. I donât know why everyone is so pressed about M0 lol. It makes no sense to me!
okay but those people worked for that. this isnât a situation where a bunch of people arbitrarily start ahead of everyone else, which is what the complaints make it sound like.
The M+ system has always been skill based. Meaning some people can go straight from Heroic dungeons with 619 drops into M0 without being full on carried. Then you have people who canât and need to farm Heroics for crests and upgrade their gear before entering M0.
The notion that M0 is entry level end-game content and anyone who hits 80 can pop into it is hilariously bad. At the end of the day it is end game content and you should be able to carry your own weight in terms of gameplay mechanics whether itâs M0 or M+.
There is nothing wrong with that, but some players are not ready to go into M0 after gearing with heroics. The exact same is true for raids. Just because you are geared through LFR does not mean you are ready for Normal Raid.
