normal pet battles only give xp for pets, it would be harmless and really nice if they gave some sort of reward, like a little gold or a pet charm
They give XP for characters as well, and that can be quite useful. You probably get more character XP from pet battles than from mob grinding.
They also do drop pet Stones, though, at about a 1% rate, so it’s not a big thing.
I don’t see that they need any more reward, tbh,

all i’m asking is for a tiny type of reward like a grey drop from a normal mob
It would be nice if stones dropped more often from wild pet battles. Maybe a 10% chance of getting a single family type stone (the 2k xp ones), or a 5% chance of getting an upgrade to rare quality stone. Or maybe a 5% chance of dropping a loot bag with pet treats and a few bandages.
Nothing too big or game breaking. But a nice little bonus.
