Still nothing but gladiators in 3 v 3 arenas. For people who are not anti-social and have friends this gets super annoying. Not everyone wants to face roll to their elite set in RSS. Can you please institute account wide MMR or some sense of league separation so that I’m not constantly facing the 14th different gladiator alt in 3s.

Eh, current mmr system sort of addresses the alt rating thing but can’t help that the mode is gonna be naturally…less forgiving? As you say both solo modes are easier and more convenient so gravitate towards those and there’ll be a higher concentration of more exp’d people playing 3s often with people they know.
Even if it’s just scuffed 5th undergeared alt games.

In a 20 year old game with an established community like wow, it will always be the more invested players who play. You’re GONNA see gladiators.
So… all the gladiator players because you have to play with friends and be social to Q 3v3???
I think most people DO, but most gladiators are playing to play.

If it’s any consolation, I beat people on drakes at a rate higher than 51%, and have for years, on a multitude of different classes/specs, and I don’t death polys or use phase shift.
Drakes really don’t mean anything unless someone gets them pretty consistently.

Most players don’t have comparable proficiency across classes
To play a fresh alt at ur mains mmr would just mean non stop losses, no learning, and no fun
I’m consistently getting gladiator as unholy dk but if I want to play my demo warlock or ele sham with some lower rated friends + I suck at those specs it’d be pretty miserable to try to win at my DKs mmr and also pretty bad for pushing my dk if my warlock games affect its mmr.
If they added account wide mmr I would have to only play dk and only with my main group of arena partners.
Aka doors would never finish his conquest cap

Eh kind of I think it’s frustration into queueing into bigger people due to lack of participation from everybody else because they migrated to solos
Even if higher exp teams are usually played alts, undergeared, pugging, new comp with friends or w/e else, so it’s not entirely unreasonable that they’re lower than one might expect
I don’t think I’ve ever known this to be much different after duelist. Such that 2250 + back in the day (hehe) was basically all glads trying to get theirs.
Kind of funny tho, everyone gets a participation trophy glad to make them feel better, and it has the effect of discouraging people without it from Qing because they think they’re getting smurfed on.

i mean the really good players have 100 alts each. a lot of them sell carry
mmr is just broken outdated
I’m charging interest to somebody on gold they had to borrow for mog and enchants because they had 80g to their name.
Erm. I really don’t think so, lmao. 
Or at least haven’t heard a compelling alternative that isn’t just “let us casuals grind rewards by playing 7000 games”.
