as a paladin i am not going back to play fresh classic. My class is borderline useless, im forced to heal in endgame. my tank spec in classic vanilla is completely broken and unusable, my DPS spec is completely random and boring to use, in pvp i get kited and manaburned endlessly, my itemization is a complete trainwreck in classic vanilla
i am not going back. SoD made me realise that i dont need to deal with this anymore. its proven that we can have classic but with some changes.
Just play warrior, its the only class in classic where all 3 talent trees are viable for something. Just don’t QQ when you have to compete with 20+ other warriors for gear every raid.

i agree with this tbh. im not going back either. as a lock it feels bad having to have all my spells being unusable because of debuff limits and endless resists too because we need a wooping 16 spell hit

As a priest main I am going back. While non healing in raid is kind of a meme healing is part of the class and respec costs suck I recognize all of this is a part of the game. SoD however is too far gone. The ideal drift from current design from classic would be TBC esque class design where many of the classes are more finished, that is the classic+ I want. A game that takes the current flaws of classic and polishes them out, not whatever the abomination that SoD is.
this is all a good thing. playing with ret paladins in every version of this game has been a horrible experience, not just when they were bad. I love this game when ret is very bad.

Yea SoD priest looks so boring to raid with. Press mending on CD and spam shield. Literal snoozefest and PvP doesnt look any more fun. Melee specs are impossible to escape it looks like. If i was a priest main, i would insta switch to vanilla and not look back
But i main mage and i am not going back to vanilla mage, so im gonna play a priest on the fresh 
. Maybe hunter. Hunter another one of those classes thats more fun in vanilla. Trap spam is exactly that, just a ZzZ spam playstyle and with lonewolf, no pet micro management is required. SoD mage feels amazing though and i hope blizz learned some things for classic plus. The potential to transform each class in a great way while preventing any overpowered or unbalanced outcome is possible
while ill probably play HC i agree with the sentiment. SoD’s class meta shack up while rocky at times is a net improvement over regular classic.

Sod took me out of retail (im just doing cosmetic things for transmog).
And all of this is because sod ret paladin rotation is the peak of gameplay.
