Just curious at max level, what could I do with toon to raw gold farm? I have a max level prot war and blood dk but currently leveling a rogue. I saw some videos but they show that they are over 7-10 months old. Again, not trying to get rich but just a little extra gold in the pockets to have. I also have a prot pali at level 73 but not enjoying prot spec on pali as much as war. Also have a 72 hunter

I heard about gdkps but A gotta be extremly geared and i play casually, my war is close to the 5k mark but thats high for me
Depending on how you got to level 80 you could complete the quests in Northrend for quite a bit of gold, I hear if you’ve leveled through dungeons and haven’t touched Northrend quests at all you can get ~7k gold per character.
Most raw gold farms afaik are by solo clearing dungeons and are usually done by either a Paladin or a Death Knight.
I have a blood dk and attempting zg for the first time to try for mount and finding it way easier than my war. So im down for suggestions. I usually did strath the side with the mount as it was a raw 50g for about 15 mins when my dk was leveling after level 72
Dailies are a good way for any class to farm gold at 80. You can do 25 per day, and Northrend dailies give around 20 gold or so. Dungeon dailies give 50 each i think, so you’re looking at probably around 560g per day per toon, just from the quest turn ins alone.

They’ve nerfed raw gold farms alot
Do your daily dungeon, convert unneeded triumph badges down to heroism and buy cardinal rubys.
Do wintergrasp weekly quests, spend 20k honor on cardinal rubys.
That’s almost 1500g including quest reward gold.
Start the Argent Tournament dailies, unlock the ability to buy pets. About 4-5k a week with those.
Herbalism. Farm speed potion mats or wild magic
Outland mining. Fel iron specifically
Soloing molten core. Roughly 500g raw with chances at sulfuron ingots and blood of mountain. Can make well over 5k a weekly clear depending on luck.
That’s roughly 8k a week, potentially up to 10k, more if you farm mats with professions.

Or. Sell carries as a tank.
Sell arena 2 carries
Tank toon spam kill and aoe farm on a toon that can also skin in a zone where you can kill lots and skin what you kill. loot and skin and sell.
Solo easier dungeons on your tank toon.
Dailies.
Having an AH alt
having a bank alt in it’s own bank guild
Having two separate active accounts that way you can trade with your own toons instead of mailing in between alts which takes both time and gold.
They nerfed lots of the gold drops from the lower level raids so often times, soloing a normal Wrath dungeon back to back will be much faster. Sell stuff you loot in there, pick up the gold. Be gtg.

The vendors there have pets specific to their faction, the Dun Morogh Cub for example is exclusive to the Ironforge Quartermaster so selling them, especially to the opposite faction, will fetch a high price.
The cost of these pets iirc are 40 Champion Seals, which are obtained through the Argent Tournament daily quests and from the TotC dungeon. Doing the dailies as a champion gives you ~10 Champion Seals each day with potentially more if you’re lucky as you can get 3 bags of gold as a reward choice, each has a chance to give you one more Champion Seal.

I actually got no idea about raw gold farming, these are what I do.
Daily dungeon is 100 gold.
Set of dailies in Argent is another 200 gold.
So that’s 300 gold in like 30m.
I do it on 2 toons. So every 10 days I get 6,000 gold added.
Fishing for Pygmy.
Herbing for Adder’s tongue is pretty profitable.
If you got alchemy, haste pots and flasks got pretty high prices right now.
These are slower but steady farms that only require 2nd monitor while you’re watching Naruto or Halo on it.
I personally don’t do any crazy farms myself. Currently at 150k gold, though some of it came from Tokens. I already bought all pets/toys I could from AH. But I’d say most of it is self farmed.
Just saving it for Cataclysn. I don’t do any GDKPs.

It’s not, only the AH in Booty Bay, Gadgetzan, and Everlook are both faction on Classic.
