Not sure what to do at Goldshire

I’m a bit stuck. I did all the quests availble to me and I’m only level 6. A quest made me go to Stormwind but no quests there. Am I supposed to grind to level 7 to access another quest or something?

Take off all your clothes and dance on the nearest mailbox.

lulz yeah. and nevermind i found the stupid quest giver

There’s a couple of quests in Stormwind but you have to find them.

I love this actually… there are going to be a lot of posts like this when classic comes out for the people who started WoW late and it’s going to feel awesome.

Care to disclose which pserver you’re on?

Get the addon Questie to gain familiarity with quest locations before Classic comes out.

Leveling in classic is very different from modern versions of the game. This is why many people talk about their first leveling experience in Classic taking weeks of /played.

Leveling will involve going to multiple zones 2-3 if you want to “quest” all the way to 60.
Quests are also not clearly marked so you need to explore to find new ones in each zone.
Usually the 1-10 zones you can get away with just one zone, so long as you kill some extra mobs along the way.
After that, you will be hitting up several zones per 10 level bracket.
(Classic also likes to send you halfway across the world to give some random guy something just to come back. The point is to get you to a new zone.)
Once you get to the 40+ levels you will be finishing all quests in several zones and only be 45-47ish or 55-56ish.

This is why “grinding” is so important in Classic.
There is two ways to look at grinding,
1- Find a spot with a high concentration of mobs around your level, bring lots of consumables and make sure your bags are empty. Then buckle up and kill as many as you can until you can’t take it anymore. Hopefully, you gain 2-3 levels and you can move on to another zone now.
2- Grinding as you go. Modern WoW usually involves running from quest giver to objective as quickly as possible and not pulling agro along the way. Instead, this is where you kill everything that yields exp along your path of travel. You are going to have to grind eventually, so you might as well incorporate in the entire time.

Depending on which class you play and your play style either method can be the most efficient. I personally do a bit of both and different levels throughout.

Doing dungeons is not an efficient way to level unless you have quests. Although, it is a nice change up to grinding.

Good luck

Go to the farms there are like 3 quests for you to do
