Does any one have a good team for doing the family battler elementals for this one? I’ve been trying stuff for a couple hours with no luck. Xu-fu has one but it’s a rng nightmare.

That’s probably the toughest one of the lot. Ive tried a few approaches, but its got me beat.

I put together a critter team prior to patch release because I thought that was gonna be the hard one, boy was I wrong lol. Then to rub it in my team didnt work after the patch and I had to make a new one lol.

Sadly, even Xu-Fu’s site doesn’t seem to have too many good strategies for this particular tamer for many of the families. I must have tried Undead a dozen times and finally gave up for the night. I may just whack out the achievements on a different trainer if possible.

I’ve used almost 300 bandages on the PTR trying to come up with a strat for this one. I only managed to kill him twice with an ele team, and I was never able to duplicate it for either team. I didn’t use this fight to complete my meta achievement. You only need 15 out of the whole lot of tamers, and they’re all up to battle no matter if their WQ is up or not.

I haven’t decided if I want to continue to bang my head against that particular wall.

Yep… I think skipping is a good solution. I didn’t even think about it so thanks for the replies. Glad to know I’m not the only one. I was feeling a bit defeated since I can usually come up with something.

There is a Critter strat on Xu-Fu for Kwint that worked for me.

Yep Definitely skip. For my elemental achievement I skipped Kwint, Burly, Leana, and Zujal. Try focusing on all the others for elemenatals.

Leana and Kwint got a hard pass from me - didn’t really even try it when I was doing the achievement. Other than that, the only fight I didn’t do was Korval/Aquatic (I did someone else for my final Aquatic).

In general, I found Aquatics to be the most difficult. Critters aren’t all that bad because they’ve got so many high speed evasion options.

I got this one done after 20+ tries. I had to get Tiny Twister specific breed from old Arathi. Strategy on XuFu Pet Battle. Since you need to do 15 out of 19 trainers for each family, I would skip element and aquatic for Not So Bad Down Here.
