Quaeth,

Like the users before, can you please wait for a weekly reset (the next Tuesday after you start experiencing issues)? We have seen situations where guilds were having display issues after some of the realm connections, but they appear to auto-resolve. If they don’t resolve after reset, please put in a ticket.

This has happened several times on my server this year. Putting in a ticket is a waste of time considering it is Blizzard that keeps breaking it. Why doesnt Blizzard simply implement a test or two each update to make sure it isnt broken. Guild leaders have been ticketing this issue with zero results.

Because this isn’t the only issue they’d need to test. You need to look at the entire picture.

Even three fully-staffed eight-hour shifts of techs couldn’t possibly have time to test every bug on the list before/during a reset. There must literally be ten thousand bugs on the list, from things that cause crashes to guild chat problems to out-of-place pixels on some texture somewhere.

By the time they got to this bug, bug #2362 (or whatever), it would be the next day. It’s simply not feasible to do. I’d imagine if they start at bug #1 and work through to the end, it would take more than a week. Now you’ve hit the next server restart and have to start back at number 1 on the list.

So, they do the next best thing - handle it on a case-by-case basis.

Good luck on your issue. :slightly_smiling_face:

Chiming in here to report that I just had this happen on my guild on Stormrage, to a T. UI reload did nothing to help, nor disabling addons. Cannot select the user at all aside from manually whispering, just a blank entry in the roster save for a - under notes.

FWIW they show up normally using the old roster command (/groster) if that’s of any usefulness for finding the issue.

Moderator edit: Please be mindful of the date of the previous post before replying, to avoid “necroing” old topics. This guild issue may be fixed by using /gkick on the broken member, or submitting a ticket to have a Game Master take a look at the guild. Thanks.
