I seem to be randomly not receiving restored coffer keys from weekly chests across multiple of my characters. Just opened a weekly theater performer’s chest and no restored coffer key. (and I also got adventurer level gear when I haven’t yet gotten even one piece of veteran gear on that character either)

So far I have only found 2 things that will give them:
The weekly quest in dornogal (collect 100 titan disc fragments)
The weekly world quest in K’aresh that requires you to do 3 world quests to unlock (Special Assignement: Aligned Views)
Completed but did not receive keys from:
Theatre quest
Hallowfall spreading the light quest
Awakening the machine
Undermine weekly quests
Still haven’t tried the weekly quest in Azj-Kahet or the weekly world quest in Isle of Dorn

Sounds like they are shuffling players towards doing the new content rather than legacy.
Same issue here, got two keys off the bat, but a lot of chests since then have not given any.
Same issue here the only keys i got were from the new weekly quest in karesh and the titan disc. so only 2/4 usual. haven’t tried any of the quests that are supposed to give key shards yet
That was my thought too, but there aren’t enough weeklies in the new content that reward coffer keys to make up for the loss.

I realized the weekly activities that weren’t giving me keys were giving me 50 Coffer Key Shards each instead, or 1/2 a keys worth. Once I got 200 of the shards they stopped being given from the weeklies. So still possible to get 4 keys you just have to run more weeklies then before.

looks like it was bugged. my main got only 3 keys but 250 coffer key shards. main did every single weekly event that offers a cache, all on wednesday.
i since on thursday until today did it on 4 more alts and they all got 4 keys and 250 coffer key shards.
we are owed a key. was bugged somehow, just like the start of season 2. same thing.

brann’s do 3 delve weekly gave me coffer key
They’ve changes how coffer keys are acquired. Pinnacle caches, gold color, give keys for the first 2 of the week. general weekly caches, special assignments and the 4 weekly zone quests, give 50 coffer key shards for the first 4.
the tooltip for the pinnacle caches weren’t changed from last season but the silver/iron colored chests from special assignments do have updated tooltips talking about coffer key shards.

I did all the weeklies everywhere and came away with 2 keys and 200 key shards.
If that’s the way its meant to be then so be it, but I’m kinda bummed we have to do more work to get the same results from the first 2 patches.

i just got the 2 keys and the 200 shards as well, but i hear other people are getting more keys, this can’t be right
Not a bug, that content only gives restored coffer key fragments now.
Not saying I approve of the change, just that that’s what it is.
