Not receiving pet waxwick from achievement Khaz Algar Safari

I recently completed the achievement Khaz Algar Safari, which is supposed to award the pet Waxwick. The pet did not appear in the pet collection, bags or post.

yea same. put in a ticket and they “cant do anything about it”

Appears as though no pets are being awarded for any of the achievements, so we’ll all be in the bug fix wait queue.

They fixed Lil’ Bonechewer but not Waxwick, bumping so hopefully blizzard sees this

I did not receive the battle pet either. I reported it and they said there might be a bug and I should report it. That’s it. Wish they would just send me the pet!

Likewise… completed the safari on 9/6/24, no pet.

I suspect there is/was some confusion, with the pet claiming to be based on the achievement but the achievement not mentioning the pet, but since people are getting it at all, it’s apparently supposed to be working, and that it doesn’t is a bug.

So I was cleaning out my main’s bags, and I found Waxwick in there. I don’t know when it showed up, or if I just managed to overlook it originally, but if I wasn’t a bonehead, and it did just show up, it may be worth checking. (But I was probably just a bonehead.)

to add, the family battler of khaz algar is supposed to reward a pet “fuzzy” and doesn’t even exist in the book nor has it been rewards to those who received the achiev prior

I completed Khaz Algar Safari in August and still haven’t received the pet.

Wonder if this bug is still gonna be around in 2025. Lets go!!! Another week!

Same thing happened to me. Completed achievement and did not receive the pet. Put in a ticket and they said all I can do is submit a bug report. Apparently, this bug occurs if your bags are full when you complete the achievement. The pet does not get mailed to you as lost loot.

I know, they could atleast make it so you can buy it from a stable vendor like they did with the cataclysm daily achievement pet if you got a double by accident. Anyways another week, no fix
