Not receiving item to claim Vanilla WoW Collector Edition Pets in any of the Classic servers

Hello!

I am not receiving the quest item that allows me to start the quest to redeem the Vanilla CE pets when I create a new character on any Classic server. My retail account has the pets which is the same account I use for Classic.

I opened a ticket with Blizzard and received some AI responses but I did try their suggestions. On the final response, they said they couldn’t help me further and I would need to submit a bug report.

  • GM verified the CE code on my account
  • Verified CE pets on retail
  • I tried creating different characters on different Classic servers but never received the quest item
  • Could not find Landro Longshot in Booty Bay to redeem codes in Classic

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I had to respond back to my ticket multiple times to even get someone to recognize there was an issue. The response I got was that the dev team is aware and working on a fix. I asked how long they have been aware and when we can expect a resolution. No response yet. Given how much I’ve had to pay for the code to try and get pets in classic when I already had them in retail, I really hope they resolve this yesterday.
