Oh no, trust me! I want to play a dragon, not an Elf/Human. I want the dragon to have the armor, you won’t get pushback from me there. My point was just I think people still farm transmog even as Druids.
(Though side note: Mail gear has a habit of being relatively eeehhh…so there might not be much to farm. Maybe Shaman sets).
At that point it sort of kills the purpose of the mog sets. AT least druids can have mog in boomkin/resto if you want. Neither of the specs for the new class will have the option so again, it’s sorta pointless. Idk why they won’t take the time to make mog fit the drak models even though it’s only one type of armor that needs modeled for it. Just seems lazy, if people want the dragon fantasy why not just let them not have to mog anything as an option?
For me, yes. But not every class needs to appeal to EVERY person. That is why there are multiple choices. There are plenty of players that like the primal and natural look of a class like druids and evokers.
So it’ll be like a druid for but you get to actually see some of your armor! Sounds sick to me! also you will see all your armor in visage form. Win Win
I literally would agree with you if dracs weren’t humanoid. Other than their wings and maybe heads, there’s no reason why mogging shouldn’t work on them.
If players want to go barber shop scales-only that great. If players want to show their mog I don’t see a reason not to let them. It’s always better to have more options.
This is the tradeoff for having a more radical body shape. Anything with 3D geometry that’s not shoulders is a pain to make work on the model, so they don’t even bother trying.
I can count on my fingers the amount of mail armor other than shoulders and belts with 3D geometry. Could also just exclude those.
Plus, given the whole single class thing, would it really be so bad to just work on the 3D geometry for like, 2lvling sets and 1 tier set per patch? They are even androgynous, so no need to do it twice!
def not opposed to not showing helms, those are admittedly a pain to adapt to each different head, and given the amount of head customization they seem to be giving, plus the fact that helms always end up looking terrible on anything not human looking, I can fully understand them not being included.
One thing that would help allow us to show off our mogs on Dracthyr is to not force us into dragon form in combat. What they could do is simply have the abilities that absolutely require the dragon form animations swap us to dragon form during the animation, then swap us back to visage form if we have the visage toggled on. That way we still see our mogs most of the time, even during combat.
We’d still be switching into dragon form on the regular but it’s better than just being stuck in dragon form the instant combat is active and unable to leave it until combat drops.
