we pray that cata fails and has an agonizing end. it is not amusing. we got many people on here that wish to act like cata isn’t actually that bad but we’ll see how many of them are actually just devil’s advocate andy’s on launch.
…What glory is there in playing video games playing the same raid tier for months longer than everyone else has any patience for, having literally nothing to look forward to aside from the same boring crap day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year?
Stasis is death, nothing more.
The way the people who complain about it act makes it seem like it’s one of the types of cancer that’s not only incurable but also really awkward to talk about, not an expansion for a game that apparently killed everyone’s dog the way they seem to hate it.
I hate games like Legends of Aethereus and Two Worlds II, yet I didn’t start what amounts to the most pathetic crusade in history against them; I just do literally anything else with my time but play them.
the analogy is failed because they are under the same game. I personally do not care if you want to spend the time playing a bad version of the game. I simply care because my wrath character is also going to be dragged to that bad version of the game.
You don’t have a point; you have an opinion (learn the difference). You have posted a subjective opinion which I have countered with my own subjective opinion. Neither of us can prove each other wrong since our opinions are entirely subjective. I’m sure you will reply with some equally as brilliant as you previously have .
On reflection, the point you glossed over was the last line. The entirety of human history is based on changing based on environmental stimuli instead of crossing your arms, sitting down, and doing whatever the adult-age equivalent to holding your breath until you get your way is. Just because you want to sit in your bubble instead of doing literally anything else with your time doesn’t mean we need to treat you like a person worth the space they take up. (that’s why Wrath Era’s probably not happening)
2008’s gone and it’s not coming back. Remaining stuck in the past is just going to bite you in the future, including in a few months when Cata comes out and the whiniest players here either leave the rest of us in peace or shut up, grow up, and at least TRY to find something to enjoy in an expansion that came out when I imagine a large number of people here were still in high school.
Actually, he did have a point, you just chose to ignore it.
Fun fact, points can also be opinions.
What you countered with was nothing that even tried to counter his point/opinion.
What a grammatical train wreck. I’m not “holding my breath”; I moved on and went back to the private server I play on.
I do plenty with my my time. You’d make a really crappy psychologist.
Right back at you with the inconsequentiality.
Thank you Captain Obvious. Nothing gets past you, does it?!
I’m not stuck in the past. Do you enjoy playing old games like Zelda, Mario Brothers, et cetera? Your feeble minded attempt to defenestrate what one person enjoys has failed you. Speaking of high school, you should have paid more attention while you were there.
Keep in mind I’d been awake for something like 16 hours at that point; missing a couple of words or the error wouldn’t have been something I was worried about at the time…though if that’s your first attempt at a point, there’s clearly not much else to argue against.
Yet you intend on playing a game that is.
Of course, even though I prefer Ducktales over Mario. Thing is though, I can admit that the ones I prefer shouldn’t remain the standard; I’m fine with things advancing and don’t expect the people with actual control to make exceptions for myself and a handful of other people at a greater cost to themselves than would ever be worth it.
Not gonna lie, not a word I expected to see; figured most of the people here weren’t that specced into English.
Welcome to the real world, where we sleep for 7-8 hours out of a 24 hours cycle?
A couple is a vast understatement.
I’m sure you were.
You missed a comma after “though” (prior to your ellipsis).
Clearly not. You do not possess an open mind, aptitude, et cetera, to see things other than your way.
I play SOD, retail, and played Wrath (the best part of the franchise in my opinion). That isn’t stuck in the past; that is called versatility/options.
Oh, so you like to play those games, but want to remove the ability for others that enjoy a certain game (even though you get to move on)? Are you drunk?
As am I. However, I prefer to let people have a choice (something your simple mind wants to take away from others).
I don’t expect any company to cater to my individual needs. However, a very large amount of people have spoken out. Blizz will only lose money to private servers as the have in the past (hence why we have things like classic and SoD). It’s not a loss to them. A simple server with minimal maintenance is a proverbial grain of sand on a beach.
I won’t lie either. You more than likely did a search for the definition of that word. Judging by your inadequate grammar, you avoid epistemophilia at almost every chance and certainly do not indulge in epeolatry.
What do you consider “a very large amount of people”? I see a tiny fringe group. Of course the terms are subjective so I like to do comparisons. For example those asking for rdf were far more numerous than those asking for wrath era. The threads were longer with hundreds and often more than a thousand replies with hundreds of likes. Those wanting rdf kept up the threads for over a year at the same intensity. For wrath era the threads barely get over a hundred replies and a couple of dozen likes. Already most have given up and the few remaining have to necro old threads a couple of weeks old in a losing attempt to keep the issue on the front page. That doesn’t seem like a very large amount of people to me.
They have no obligation to have Era servers other than Classic Era servers, we were only promised Classic Era servers and people only play them when Blizzard puts a spin on it. Classic Era died very fast with everyone either stopped playing or moving onto TBC never touching Classic Era again. Blizzard saw this, saw that people don’t want to stick around and most likely decided that for those reasons that future Era servers wasn’t worth the trouble of maintaining.
You’ve had a year and half to experience WotLK with original WotLK lasting 2 years. You’ve had plenty of time to experience WotLK.
Seeing people say “Many that want to stay and continue to relive the glory of each expansion” makes me question what they think of retail, moving from expansion to another.
That’s a bit much mate.
Why do you think Cataclysm is bad? Is it the world breaking, talent squish or Dragon Soul? Or could it be something that I didn’t say. I feel like people have a massive hatred for Cataclysm and their reasoning to me, aren’t even good.
