Not happy with the SoD news

There is no version of WoW that is like SoD.

As a rogue in SOD I have 4 different dps spec and if I get bored of that, I can tank.

WoW classic only has one viable dps spec. Warrior. So WoW classic is not a viable option for me.

I hate raid and dungeon finders and I hate wow tokens. So MOP and retail is out for me as well.

So where I am suppose to go after SoD?

Truth nuke! If those are your top complaints about MOP and retail, you were never actually interested in playing World of Warcraft.

Those things he mentioned were added to the game in expansion packs that were all complete trash.

Agreed. I liked SoD quite a bit, and nothing retail or retail-lite are doing have anything to offer me.

So it’s Hardcore or prepare for TBC anniversary.

If you don’t like blizzard selling you gold you don’t like World of Warcraft?

Interesting perspective there buddy.

  1. Raid Finder: Does not affect you playing the game
  2. Dungeon Finder: Does not affect you playing the game
  3. WoW Token: Possibly POSITIVELY affects the game by reducing RMT influence

I rest my case.

that’s certainly an unpopular opinion lmao 85 Hunter

These people aren’t worth arguing with. They couldn’t tell you a single boss mechanic from a raid newer then ICC.

It’s a very popular opinion and why you’re even able to post on official classic wow forums in the first place.

Popular in the vanilla andy community, sure. Overall, no.

Again, Classic WoW wouldn’t exist if this opinion wasn’t popular. Cry more.

Era doesn’t really exist at this point, so your argument is whack.

Wow has a big playerbase, vanilla lovers is a very niche a small community. So saying it is not popular is true, if you take the entire playerbase.

Besides, MoP is a beloved expansion. It has been thriving for years in pserver. It is the “Classic” for many current retail players.

Yeah dude MoP and future expansions are so popular, that back in 2019 Blizzard made classic WoW. Cope harder.

Classic got announced in Legion, not Mists of Pandaria. It was mostly Warlords of Dreanor that pushed Nostalrius back then. Before that, Vanilla pservers were pretty dead as people enjoyed Cata and MoP for what it is or moved on for other reasons.

Mists of Pandaria was a very popular expansion by any measurement.

Im holding on facts, you hold on personal hate towards lfr

Yes, MoP is such a popular expansion that Blizzard decided to make vanilla wow servers in 2019.

You do know between MoP and Classic Vanilla release it was 5 years. Thats longer than Vanilla-Cata?
The one has nothing to do with the others. I get you hate MoP but this is a very personal biased view of yours.

What does this have to do with anything? My entire point that you are unable to comprehend for some reason is that people’s enjoyment of Vanilla-Wotlk is the entire reason why Classic WoW is a thing. There isn’t a massive MoP fanbase out there that gave Blizzard the long game plan of releasing official Classic MoP servers SIX YEARS into the Classic WoW server run lmao dude. What kind of drugs are you smoking right now

And before you cope, please refresh yourself with Ironforge pros server population. Post-WOTLK is bleeding out hard. Cata was obviously a failure, and MoP will cut that playerbase even further. These are just easy cash grabs for the team to pop out since they don’t have to actually make anything new.

Nope. WoW in general

There is. In your vanilla community you simply don’t know them.

Still more than any other classic version combined. Numbers don’t lie, you do.

It’s doing fine overall. Blizzard made Cata Classic in a terrible state with way too many bugs and false promises.
At the same time you could even say Wrath was a big failure because had the biggest drop off

Thats cope because you are out of touch. The devs are focusing MoP because they clearly know it is going to be a huge success. Maybe the ones you are playing with won’t, that’s fine, but even in retail many people are preparing to start a new adventure in MoP.
