So ive got a level 50 character (many).
After completing exiles reach on a new alt, I wasnt given any option for chromie time. Its basically forcing me to go to BFA.
What gives?
If you go through Exile’s Reach, you’re tossed into BFA. You should be able to do the intro quests to open the portals, and then back to other zones for leveling.

Did you press Shift+J to bring up the adventurer’s journal? Usually, it’s there.
I think there was a time on the PTR where Chromie Time was an auto-accept quest, but I am not sure if that only happens if you decide to do the tour through Stormwind/Orgrimmar quest.
The adventure journal only has 4 things in the main left window that you can cycle between.
- Random BGs
- Warsong Gulch
- Skirmishes
- Secondary Professions
Nothing for chromie.
Seriously Blizzard… how hard would it have been to just have chromie pop up after finishing exiles reach and give you the option. You have done things like this numerous time with other events.

Shot in the dark, did you complete BfA loremaster? I would ask if you achieved BfA Pathfinder, but did not want to give off the impression that Pathfinder is required. But I think one of the requirements is Loremaster of BfA? Not entirely sure.
Could be a glitch.
But last thing you could try is seeing if you can locate Chromie. She, on the Alliance, should be near the Embassy.
Found Chromie, all she says is something along the lines of “It looks like you have your hands full with Kul tiras” or something like that.
(and Jaina has the quest to actually take me there)
That sucks, maybe open a GM Ticket and see what they say?
Well the most I did in BFA was (alliance) help some guy get out of a prison and then stopped. I have access to Chromie Time. Not sure what in BFA I did to unlock it or just had to get there?
EDIT : You are escaping prison, had to look it up because I can’t remember the story just a prison and escaping. I was not invested in BFA (rep grind turned me off)
That explains it. You have to actually complete bfa story once or it will force you in there
Ive completed the entire BFA storyline more than once. Ive got exalted rep with multiple factions, done pathfinding, completed the War quests, even all the side quests for lore leading up to shadowlands.
Besides, the requirment from blizzard is only having a level 50 (120) character. Nothing else.
Huh. Might be a bug. On my exile Characters I was given the chromie times option
At what point? Before doing exiles reach? Right after?
Did it pop up a window? Or what?

Do you still have any of the initial BfA quests in your log, or did you turn one in and not accept the next one? I would recommend continuing this first time, until you get the achievement [Exile’s Reach] in Boralus/Zuldazar (you get it after the scenario, as soon as your feet are on the ground in one of those two zones). Then, if you still don’t see it in the Journal, maybe check the war board. That is where I saw the intro quest in beta.
If you start the quests in Org/Stormwind that bridge between ER and BFA, you get locked into BFA. You have to talk to Chromie IMMEDIATELY upon entering your capital, before doing anything else.

Actually, it says level 50 “and have already experienced BFA,” but they’re vague on what exactly that means.
