I have done the weekly - theaters, spreading the light - i’m not getting the restored coffer keys. Any reason why?

Only 3 things give full keys now:
1 from Special Assignment in Karesh.
1 from Pinnacle Cache from Dornogal Weekly.
1 from Eco-Dome Weekly in Karesh.
The other weeklies now give 50 Coffee Key Shards each, up to 200.
This results in 5 keys a week. However, those 5 keys will give you 5 Echoes if you do Bountiful Delves, which can be turned into ~125 Shards if you do an Echo, which is another Key.
It’s 50% more keys than season 2, but people will still complain cause they don’t do the math. Lol.

I’m sure this is an unpopular opinion, but I’d rather get a full key for every activity with a soft cap of 4 than half a key from most activites with a soft cap of 5.

No, they complain because this was never telegraphed in-game and the entire system is needlessly convoluted. There shouldn’t be keys or bountiful delves at all, all delves should have all the rewards at all times and there should be no unnecessary gatekeeping.

The gatekeeping was referring to the fact that there is an unnecessary limit on bountiful delves and keys.

And if it’s higher than last season, how are you being gatekept?
M+ is limited to keys. Raids are limited to weekly lockouts. Delves are limited to keys for BOUNTIFULS.
You can still spam them as many times as you want. Just no bountiful. Seems fair to me.

This is the last time I am engaging because you’re very obviously simply being a contrarian but keys are not a limitation because there is a virtually unlimited supply of them. Meanwhile raids having a lockout has nothing to do this the other two as they are limited by the fact that they require at least 10 people to do. Delves on the other hand are a solo activity and therefore should not have these arbitrary limitations placed on them.
There should be no impediments on players wanting to engage with a certain type of content, period. If you have time to log into the game and wish to pursue a particular activity you should be free to do so without having artificial limitations preventing you.
Lastly, just because things have always been down a certain way does not mean it is the right way. Preserving the status quo should never be a reason to prevent progress.

It’s 25% more keys for 75% more work. Math is in fact hard I guess. But about what’s to be expected from someone who uses “lol” as punctuation.

And it’s fine. I get it. Many like to treat the forums as an echo chamber and act like their opinion/stance is the majority and call people “contrarians” when they disagree.
Tell me when you realize delves are the end pillar for world content. Thus the comparison to raids. Delves ARE solo raids/m+ for world content.
And the limit is just as “arbitrary” as raid lockouts.
So having to engage with world content in order to do the world contents end pillar is a bad idea?
I too wish I could just jump into a +10 keystone… with no keystone.
Or skip to x boss in the raid without killing the previous bosses.
Delves are new. The “status quo” is literally a year.
And you have yet to give a logical point as to why keys should be removed other than you just want to skip to the end and endlessly farm gear and rewards with zero limitations.
Nerfed, you get shards from some now. Is what it is but the game doesn’t really do a good job of informing people of the change as per usual

I’m cool with this if you’re also cool with only having a 2/5 chance of getting loot from a delve.
Aren’t mythics incrediblly rewarding for gilded crests? You don’t see delvers asking to have your crests nerfed.
And you can run an infinite number of mythics, iirc.

They’re also significantly harder. That’s the trade off. Delves are much easier but their rewards are capped.
Also at 2/5 chance of loot per player you need to do 12-13 dungeons before you get the equivalent amount of loot to 5 bountiful delves.
