This isn’t the same werebear you “earned” by breezing through it while overgeared at the end of Legion, your snowflake status isn’t even being threatened. So why are people still mad? It’s literally a different werebear. Did these hateful people trademark werebears now or something?
Lots of posts saying people are “quitting because you’re giving away my werebear” and so on betray a huge sense of entitlement and spoiled-ness from these vocal minority of the community. It shows that this has nothing to do with their sense of maintaining exclusivity (as those skins still ARE exclusive) but they’d rather gatekeep everyone else from even enjoying anything CLOSE to the werebear model. They just want to stop anyone else from having fun.
What a messed up mindset to have. It’s greedy and frankly disgusting. We need new blood in this game, new players with awesome things to chase after, and if this comes at the cost of a few crappy players who think they deserve everything because they breezed through a challenge at the end of Legion, well, that sounds great to me.
I’m proud of how Blizzard handled this, I hope they keep it going and add all the other models with reskins too.
My PvE side is excited for the fel werebear.
My Roleplayer side… thats a whole different story, cuz I really don’t want to see other RPers role-playing that, let alone the how and why their character is that.
I’ve seen so many elitists try and say it’s the equivalent of just giving away cosmetics and “I’m not special anymore!”

I have the werebear, I have zero issues with new players getting it. I hate telling people they can’t even try for something they never knew existed. I honestly wish they had just opened the floodgates and said “It’s been 4 years, we’ll keep it hard but everyone should get a shot”.
I have the werebear and sparkle cat on my druid. I don’t mind people getting another chance at it even if it’s a different skin of the same model. I just wish they would extend that to everything else including the sparkle cat.
Yeah it’s insane in my opinion.
When I got the werebear, and knew it was a limited time, I said from time to time that bringing back the mage tower with even a reskinned werebear would be cool because it’s a model I’d love for others to have a chance at.
Frankly even bringing back the original tint I wouldn’t care and actually be happy the people who noped out or didn’t play then, can have a chance.
I guess I don’t hold pixels at a high regard and recognize it’s not being handed out.
Funny thing is, if you’re a tank, most of the time there isn’t even another guardian druid around you unless you’re chilling in oribos/covenant sanctum.
