I dunno man I’d rank @tupacshekar higher because it is 2020 and subtlety is dead IRL.
what chore are you talking about?
we have weekly torghast and renown with daily maw quest.
world quest are optional, calling are optional.
then you have a whole week to do raid, m+ and finaly pvp with at each reset a choice a to chose a better choice of gear from the vault.
stop calling tgose chore when everything is almost optional.
Your OP said you had 3 kids. So which is it?
After you pick up the quest for a zone to do in Threads of Fate, you can also flight path to the other zones and pick up the “fill the bar” quests for them. Then if you get sick of the zone you’re in, you just move on to do WQ in a different zone.
One of them is too young to speak, the other two are hitting their early teens.
Lol your guild carried you.
You can call it what you want, but I advise everyone to find a good guild like me. It can really help a lot not dealing with pugs!
you’re not allowed to be critical of Blizzard apparently
I love threads of fate. I found it pretty comparable timewise. But the renown tokens you get along the way make it absolutely worth it. It’s a very laid back way to level. No RP or story details to follow. Just choose a zone and go at it for a few hours, then move on. Good when paired with some youtube or netflix.
Pretty sure he’s trolling lol.
Well you could do mythic + in pretty low gear, if you are talking +2-4 or so. Just queue some heroics for 171 gear to get you started then some mythic 0 and +2s. The weekly renown grind isn’t too bad if you get your daily anima rewards from a BG win, maybe a WQ or two. The maw dailies aren’t necessary. Torghast is a bit of a time consumer but honestly I find it pretty fun.
I tried to keep up with everything and still fell behind. I can’t even sign up for world bosses. I get instantly refused because I don’t have a 180+ilvl. So I gave up.
There are lots of other games you can play that are casual if you don’t like wow anymore. There really aren’t many “chores”. The 1000 anima a week quest can be done by just doing all the world quests once and the world boss, the covenant quests are story content that isn’t really a chore in my opinion, torghast if you care about getting legendaries but I doubt a casual player even cares about them, and the maw is really only “required” once a week for the covenant quests, but you are really gimping yourself by not getting rep because some of the upgrades make torghast easier. If you can’t be bothered to even do the bare minimum of 4 WEEKLY quests, than maybe WoW isn’t for you.
Many 184+'s out there did I’d gather.
Pugs…make this difficult. Not even being an elitist here. I suck at stich’s hook mechanic. Necrotic wake may be a few wipes I could (and did) help make happen.
On heroic even. I get that hook a few times yeah…its 50% chance of a crap show. Mythic timers? yeah…best rush the prior bosses. We will need those saved seconds lol. NOte this is why I am not in mythic.
In my experience, if you feel like you’re behind and have to hit the ground running, you will run head first into a wall. You will hate the grind, the game, and maybe rage quit and delete your toons. I almost did that at BfA release. I took four months off. after an eight week hate filled grind.
My advice, don’t sweat it. Take your time. You are not behind. Everyone playing their main pushing for 190-200 i-level will in six months be able to have an alt at that level two weeks after patch. Got to love catch up mechanics.
Torghast and the Maw are weekly. Callings and anima quests are daily. Pick up a rare and a few treasures on the way. Send your follows on missions from your phone.
I was surprised this last reset when I made 1450 anima in less then three hours. Right now a person can average 900 - 1000 anima each day within a couple of hours of gameplay. It’s not that hard (I don’t even PvP).
Good news, everything is optional, and you can go at whatever pace you want. Well, as long as its not too fast, lol.
