Ignore pvp and it dies off

i havent really enjoy’d pvp in SoD thru any phases, it was forced so I could get a few BiS items and once i had the items, it wasnt needed to do. Ashenvale wasnt even pvp it was pve race like AV will be.

I didnt even do blood moon until phase 3 for 2 days since i play a ranged hunter (i had zero items to get until phase 3) - once i got my ranged weapon. done!

what killed this game was 1 raid for 7 days lock out. (if they would have had at least 2 7day lockout raids, im sure at least half the people that left would still be playing)

plus bliz released cata classic (full of bugs) so some people went there and d4 fixed many issues and made it fun (some people went there) and now pandaexpress i mean remix, that many people went there.

that is why SoD phase 3 is “dead”.

except it died because they didn’t ignore pvp. they disrupted PvP weekends 3 weeks in a row and now have crappy pvp modifiers. I could live with that, but the drastic drop in players once PvP balance was in constant flux is not gonna fix itself without p4.

server are dying because the casuals quit with the 20 man changes for ST. they cant quickly pug anymore which was the entire appeal of p1 and 2

Those people wouldn’t have done the 10 man version more than twice anyways, you have to be a special kind of player to enter those snoozefests more than a few times

WoW endgame has always been PvP and once that is gone the server dies, unless you consider people raid logging and obtaining world buffs “thriving”

no i would consider people playing alts because they arnt investing all their time into one character thriving but that cant happen right now because of the time investment for a single character

I’ve been to a few BGs where there isn’t even enough Alliance players to have a BG now. Blizzard, no one is having fun, you’ve diluted the player base now we are desperately trying to find people to fill raids and bgs. Alliance winning percentage was extremely low already, now I’m not even able to play.

Is this what your goal was? Why was this something you didn’t consider?

Just play Cata like the rest of us, PVP is actually enjoyable and you don’t have to grind 500+ hours to get THAT weapon like some classes have to do now in SOD… Looking at you Mara and Felscar’s…

SOD is a GRIND fest anyways compared to Cata, I don’t think I will be going back even if they drop season 4. I am grown now, I don’t have 8 hours to waste grinding or going from 1 corner of the globe to the other just to get something useful.

They have never done same faction AV though, which will be the meta next phase. I dont even see them implementing mixed faction queues.

Dog water pvp’rs are literally the only ones complaining about damage reduction.

How are you going to argue pvp is WORSE when you can utilize your spell’s and abilities and out play people???

If you like the 1 shot meta where you smash 1 dps button and everyone dies in a stun you’re a garbage pvp’r and your opinion shouldn’t matter regarding pvp anyways.

I play with some of the very best pvp’rs in classic… I like how you try to re-direct the convo instead of admitting you like the 1 shot meta.

cause it isn’t a 1 shot meta if your heals are good. literally nothing one shots. its a burst meta not one shot.

also the community at large enjoyed no dr as evidenced by empty BMs and 10+ minute queues even as a group. vs 4k+ coin bms and sub 1m queues before this nonsense started.

in sod gear soft cap is like 2 weeks at 50. which is probably why a lot of classic players complain. they have to fight people within 20% of their gear constantly vs outgearing someone by months in era.
