"Not Enough Memory" crashes since patch 11.2.7

Greetings,

Been getting “Not Enough Memory” crashes since the patch, when I previously never had issues before.

Not sure if it’s something wonky with the game or an add-on, as the issue doesn’t seem to persist when renaming the Interface/WTF/Cache folders to InterfaceOld/WTFOld/CacheOld respectively.

I’d love to go through and check every addon to see if/what’s causing it, but the game doesn’t get past the loading screen in some cases.

It could be your Razer utility causing it, or it could be all of the apps with hardware acceleration.

I seem to not have the issue currently as long as I don’t have any out of date addons running, which I’m not sure which of them it would be causing the issue in the first place because it seems to be random. Sometimes everything is fine, sometimes I start the game and it immediately gives the error.

Edit: Still happens with only ElvUI enabled and all other addons disabled.

Same problem here, never seen this error before. I was playing just fine last night, but I tried playing after I woke up (now) and getting this error.

Update: Updating my GPU seems to have fixed it.

Update 2: Crashed with this same error after two hours of play. My memory is only at 65%-70%.

Hello same thing here as of a day and a half ago I noticed it running I got 32 gigs of RAM and it’s using 75% on my Ram and in my other computer takes it as high as 80%, and I’m disabled all add-ons cleared the cash folder and still getting 60 to 70% now

I’m getting a memory error upon exiting. After maybe 4-5 hours of play (which is when I usually exit anyway). Got one in the middle of Undermine yesterday too. Razer stuff was not active. :frowning: Will gather more info when I can…

this has been ongoing for me for quite awhile as well, i completely removed the game and reinstalled, and it does that memory thing, or if i go to transmog, or get a mount , it freezes up and all you see is the lettering in the game, i’ve done the scan and repair so many times, i only use a few addons, idk, but i’m beyonf frustrated, its no fun playing it because you just don’t know when its going to do it, but it does it alot!! i’m about ready to shut down my account, cause i pay for it and can’t play it

I am on WoW Classic Anniversary servers and as of today, my character is unplayable due to this issue. I logged in fine this morning, spent 40 minutes making a group for RFD, and during zone into the instance, it crashes with a memory leak. My PC is extremely good, up to date drivers, and I even disabled addons / cleaned all folders out… nope. Can’t log into the character, its just stuck in the load screen for 3 sec into instant massive memory leak. And the report gives this as the reason “blz_alloc: struct jamequipmentsetdata” … I just wasted 45 minutes of 4 other peoples time, I can’t play the 21 year old game at all, and its somehow due to a feature that’s not even in the game?

Having the same exact issue as Hiredthug on the Hardcore Anniversary server. Did a character unstuck with no resolution. Others were disconnecting while entering the instance as well.

I have the same issue. It is happening with only 1 of my characters on Anniversary. I can log all of my other characters fine.

very important that this is happening with THE SAME CHARACTER when I try on a different computer

I have the same as of an hour ago. Only one character in Anniversary, others work fine. Task manager shows wow using 2gb of my 64gb of ram.

i get the error: Requested 358691376576 bytes of memory, Error #8 (0x8) BLZ_ALLOC: struct JamEquipmentSetData.

That much ram requested for wow lol, which is 358gb of ram.

I am getting the same error. I have 1 character on Dreamscythe and I cannot log into that character because of this. Loading bar gets 2/3rds the way there and then I get the error message

I dont know how long it will last. but under dreamscythe i deleted the blizzard saved variables. and also the blizzard saved variables under the character that would not load, and its now loading.

Account\accountname\SavedVariables , deleted all files that started with blizzard in the name

Same issue here, only one toon that i was running into SM Lib, JamEquipment error, but my other toons are fine.

crashed again, lasted 5 minutes hopefully the reboot fixes it.,
