After hearing names like “rise of the aspects” and “empire of dragons”, “dragonflight” seems so…boring. It’s like naming your xpac “Scourge” or Legi…never mind

I think “Dragonflight” sounds badass. I generally like the one word names like Legion and Shadowlands. A shame it wasn’t DragonNight though. I would love a DN expansion.

It has better do away with a lot of the nonsense they’ve put out, especially grounding us. Sink or swim, Blizzard. This is it.

i’m fine with w/e, man. been playing since vanilla - the name of the expansion is not what I’m here for.
the first raidboss could be a mutant rat who fell in a puddle of radiated urine in the Stormwind sewers. if the fight’s good, it’s good.

Eh its simple n sweet. I always prefer more special titles to stuff like patches. So you can get stuff like Dragonflight: ( insert cool patch title here )

If dragon flights are 10 my guess is it’s “dragon flights: next generation” (including some kind of loss of alextrazia (probably some kind of sacrifice) leading up to 11….
…Cata 2: Big Daddy’s Bogaloo where Anulins boyfriend goes full “bad daddy” and we get a revamp of some kind.

I mean this might be a crazy thought but maybe the name of the expansion in the code leak is just you know how they named it in the code and not the actual name of the expansion. Similar to how expansions are abbreviated i.e., Wrath = Wrath of the Lich King, Cata = Cataclysm, MoP = Mists of Pandaria, etc.
Dragonflight is an ok name. It’s a bit tame, which I honestly hope matches the expansion. Repsite expansion please, oh please Blizzard.

idc what they call it. If it’s about Dragons, then it best be focused on Chromie reversing time and wiping out the last two expansions.
But, knowing Blizz, they’re going to do something like making this the dragon aspects last hurrah in the WoW-verse, and having them die out or something stupid. They seem to be hell bent on getting rid of old lore.

We’re going to reduce it to some silly contraction or acronym anyway so what does it matter of it’s called Dragonflight or Wrath of the Legion of Warlord Pandaren Kings and Cataclysmic Crusaders?

Eh. I don’t put stock in leaks.
On a side note, didn’t the dragons lose their powers in Dragon Soul? I remember the Red one whose name I won’t attempt to spell saying something along those lines in the cutscene at the end.

I think it’s the most blatantly fake one so far.
We are almost assuredly getting something dragon based, but the most trekking bits for me were ‘micro classes’ and logger.
They aren’t insane enough to add four different classes with only one spec.

Dragonflight fits to be honest. I like it if we’re going small and not getting into a major conflict right off the bat then why not?
