Not all of New Jersey is as dirty as Undermine

I’ve read several times, in different places, that Undermine is New Jersey with Jersey accents. Not true! There are many beautiful parts of New Jersey and not everyone speaks like they’re from Hoboken.

Ive dated a few Jersey girls. I love it down there. Good people, and a lot more tree covered than youd otherwise believe.

It’s more like Elizabeth NJ collided with Atlantic City, rather than all of Jersey. Lol

If you’ve ever been near Elizabeth with your window down, you’ll understand.

People are FROM hoboken? I thought it was just a transitional step between moving out of NYC and moving to the suburbs.

I’ve lived in NJ for 34 out of my 38 years and I’ve never met someone from NJ who speaks like this. The people I’ve met who speak like this are all from Brooklyn.

I dunno, I’d believe it.

The jersey shore show they are all from NY, those aren’t really Jersey people at all, couldn’t stand that show. I live in South Jersey and love it, originally from North Jersey and loved that too.

What’s wrong with Hoken? That’s where Frank Sinatra is from.

It’s a general tri-state area accent, really. Could be worse. We could have a race with a Long Island accent.

Sorry. Lon-gailan.

You are correct. Its only like the undermine where people live.

Undermine reminds me a lot of the mile-long stretch of junkyards from my north Texas hometown, but so did Mechagon.
