[ Not a bug ] Wax Contribution not awarding Valorstones

After contributing a certain amount (around 2~ Firelight Ruby’s worth) of wax to Middles he stops giving the 5 Valorstone reward. I checked that I am not Maxed out on them.

Edit: also checked with all mods off.

Yes, they nerfed the wax turn ins. After 25 it just gives crystals

Is this a daily reset or weekly? Has anyone tried the following day?

The patch notes say weekly.
