Normalizing pvp scaling

Is it being considered to normalize the pvp scaling in BFA or Shadowlands? I boosted my character for the solo pvp that you can do as of right now and I’ve been noticing I have to take a secondary role in dealing damage for kills in battlegrounds. It’s still fun, I just miss the solo pvp.
Is it worth doing though? It makes people play the other parts of the game. I think the system is kind of weird, but I can see the intention behind it. I like it, but maybe decrease it to be more of a slight edge instead of a completely different echelon of pvp. I like the pvp, but I would take being able to solo pvp without getting gear first sooner rather than later if you are considering it.
Is it a consideration? Let me know what you think!

No idea what you’re talking about, post isn’t very concise

Legion had scaling, but everyone disliked it (I liked)

No, they removed it because it made the gear progression people did pretty much pointless. This is an MMO, gear should matter and impact your performance.

I understand that, I was just wondering because the real progress with esports and the growing US gaming community that they might be considering a normalization to make the game more accessible for the attending population. It might even be a good idea in that case.

They aren’t going to switch back because gear is trivial to get these days. You can get above normal ET raid caliber gear and never set foot in a raid. Gear normalization was a big complaint throughout Legion and they made a big deal out of removing it for BFA.

But seriously, you can gear up pretty easy these days and with a new patch coming soon there will be another gear reset and gear catch up. You won’t have a problem.

I’m fine with scaling in PvP, but gear should still matter a bit.

I hear you. It’s not that bad.
