Normalize queue times

base your position in queue on # of times youve entered a game in X mins

if you are playing all day and spammming back to back games, lower your position in queue

so that someone who has time for two games isnt waiting 30 mins to play one 6 min premade

horde tears taste best

These tears are better than ice cream

Queues are normalized. All horde have to wait. All good players get in instantly.

Classic is designed as a time sink. If you only have time for 2 games and 30 min queues are too much you might want to stick to retail or try another game.

or you can reroll to alliance if instant queues are your thing. or go back to retail.

Man what is your problem? You embarrass yourself and, by extention, the Horde. You cry over the most insignificant things. Is the line too long for little booboo? Do you want dad to make it so you can cut in line . . . cause little booboo really really wants to play.

what post did I cry about the queue time??? what the actual F are you talking about.

My replay is to the OP not you. It just happened to come after yours.

ok that makes more since …it came in my notifications though so it had me confused. there is the big blue replay button at the bottom or you can click replay button on the OP post if you wish to replay to them …if you wish to avoid confusion in the future

Lets be honest though, for actually ranking up…the 30min queue times are WAY healthier than instant. It sucks at first, but then you get up and make your first meal while in queue. You get up and take a shower and don’t have to worry about missing any honor. You don’t have to worry about being the most absolute most efficient.

It sucked for a week, but honestly…the more I think about it, i would absolutely loath the Alliance honor grind.

That’s the button I pushed. I know the threads can be confusing as to who is replying to whom. I usually include a quote to eliminate doubt, but just got lazy.

Sorry.

All this tantrum crying about things that are just a result of faction population and preferences is making me crazy.

ikr imagine being an alliance that wants to rank. Never able to leave AV ever.

yep you literally have to chain queue and when you hit your RP hope no one screws up the brackets. horde got it good

And not just living inside Alterac Valley, but doing the same…exact…mindless…numbing…7min run for 18 hours every day.

I have seen some of them say “yeah well you have to go out in the world and pvp to keep up” as if going to other zones and seeing new scenery and doing some pvp in them while farming gold or what ever was a bad thing

I really do enjoy these threads.

Let me break it down for you, - the typical horde player - what it is that has happened here so you are not confused by the situation you find yourself currently in.

  • after 15 years and having done this before the general consesus is that horde has racials and classes better suited for pvp.

as such

  • more pvp minded players rolled horde TO pvp.
  • means when you get into a battleground full of random horde players you are generally paired up with someone who’s really into pvp.
  • means when alliance get into battlegrounds they are paired up with players who just want to honor grind.

BIG DIFFERENCE THERE.

  • which means that the faction imbalance of players looking to pvp in battlegrounds is likely going to be much MUCH larger on horde side then alliance
  • makes your ques longer
  • makes pvp servers faction imbalanced
  • makes the level of play and competition generally imbalanced.

we have pvp minded players with a slight racial advantage versus a collection of not pvp minded players just there to get honor.

Everything is playing out as it should. Enjoy your que times to get put into mismatched games against competition that could care less about the outcome.

That’s what you signed up for. That’s exactly what you are getting and that’s exactly how things are playing out and I find it all hilarious considering how terrible pvp is in world of warcraft both retail and classic. There are so many better pvp minded games out there to put your effort in, and you picked this game…

enjoy the frustration of that poor choice. For these threads won’t stop and I couldn’t be more entertained.

I’m no longer frustrated by the situation. But you’re 100% correct by the cause of it. For every Horde threat complaining about queue times, i see several Alliance threads gloating about it. But honestly, instant queues in the 1.12 meta are a curse.

Going back in time, knowing everything that I know…I would still choose to be Horde. We still have it better.

The main problem here that is why I don’t care about pvp in this game is that it divided the player base up.

You have most of the pvp minded player in one pool versus non pvp minded players in another pool. And you can’t change that or fix that.

That makes the games suck. The wins are empty and the que times are long.

On the alliance side it’s treated as more of a nuisance. A means to an end.
On the horse side, this stuff matters! This is why they play this game. This is their jam.

The ideal scenerio would see pvp minded players competing against pvp minded players making for competitive games where the outcome is more in doubt.

But that’s world of Warcraft pvp. It sucks.

And I would’ve stayed alliance but rolled pve. I enjoy pvp, but I don’t live and breathe pvp. It’s nice to have instant queues because when I want to pvp I dont have to wait. And world pvp sucks unless all you want to do is pvp. Sometimes I just want to get to a dungeon, or farm some herbs or something.
